Need Caramel Apple Salad Recipes

A few years ago I went to a pot luck dinner where my husbands co-workers attended, someone brought a caramel apple salad with peanuts in it, it was so good. I would like to make that for Memorial Day, but I don't have the recipe for it, and my husband no longer works with the lady who made it. Help! Will take recipes or links. Thanks
