Luckily I will be off for the holiday. In the past I have had to work almost every holiday with the exception of Christmas. It is a nice change and I am really looking forward to it. I now have a job where I do not have to work on national holidays and it is a welcome change. We don't have anything special planned as my husband has to work that day.

Nope, don't have to baby sit until Tuesday again. My emt daughter has a 3 day weekend and I won't have to watch him. I'll still see him though, we're planning on a bbq, and we're going to plant some sunflowers, pumpkins, and some veggies and stuff. My daughter has plans to paint my entry hall and the living room, so I guess in a little way I'll be 'working' too lol.
I make my own bbq sauce. I have a recipe for it and it was my Dad's favorite, and the only one that agreed with his tummy. I find the bottled ones just a little bit too bitter and tangy for my taste. The one I make goes with almost any kind of meat, and if I want it a little tang-ier, or spiced different, I can add to it. Hope you have a wonderful day and a fun holiday weekend!

Have you ever heard of Ketch-up and Coke, This one Lady I use to work for in Chargrin Falls, she told me that is how she makes her Barbeque Sauce. I have never tried it, but if I ever run out of Sauce I am going to try it. And she was a good cook too. I hpe you day goes well don't work too much!

I have to work today, but I don't have to work on Monday, that's for sure. I actually had my hours cut down a little, so I don't even think I have to work tomorrow. Monday is actually my vegetarian day, so I won't be barbecuing unless it's something with vegetables. I don't think I have any plans at all on Monday except laundry, maybe.

I don't have anything in particular planned for the weekend. But I do have four days off from work which I am excited about since I haven't had two days off work too much lately let alone four days. Just want to clean on my house some, do some yard work and visit with my grand baby!
