I like to dive into the bottom of the swimming pool and hold my breath as long as possible when I'm swimming. How about you?

Hi though I would love to dive to the bottom of the pool I am afraid of the depth of the water, when I go along the pool if I get to the point where I cannot feel my feet then I will panic, and I have always been the same.I think maybe it would have been a great help to me to have had some swimming lessons, but now I feel as though I am too mature to take lessons

i like swimming in swimming pools but i don't really like to dive. i can't hold my breath that long. ^__^;; but when i was having my swimming classes, we had to dive from one side of the pool to the other because it was part of our midterm practical test. now i can't really imagine how i was able to dive that far. can't remember the exact distance but i think it was 3 to 5 meters. i was just glad that i was able to do it without surfacing in the middle.

I love diving, but I don't dare to dive to the bottom on our pool because I have smacked my head before. I will however, swim to the bottom and then swim all the way across along the bottom because it's kind of cool.

Yeah, I did on the width of the pool, it's around 25 meters. Diving from this edge to the across edge. But I never did on the length which is 50 meters. It's hurt, usually I rises around 30s meters. Need to be relax for this.

I do but I'd rather float :-) SOmetimes its difficult getting to the bottom since you are not dense enough to reach the bottom. I think the depth of the pool also affects one's capability to stay longer at the bottom.

We have our own swimming pool but I do not know how to dive. My husband loves to dive and lay and swim on the bottom of the swimming pool. He like to make alot of laps back and forth also to see how many he can do and how long he can hold his breath also. I cannot dive or swim on the bottom of the pool very well. I always float back to the top of the water, most usually. I can hold my breath a long time though.
