Hi, zz1111, for me , I go to school not for getting the diploma only, my parent thought that maybe the purpose to get education is getting the diploma, but for me, it's not. and that is the problem in my country, most of the students go to school just to get the diploma, then get a job, what a pity!!

I graduated from college with a B.A. in Psychology. It has not been much use to me, other than that I know exactly how crazy my friends and co-workers are. LOL

I was a teenage parent, so I chose to get into the workforce as quickly as possible since I had a child to support. I went to a technical college and got certified in banking operations. I took a few college courses over time, but no degree. I'd like to go back though and get a degree in web design.

hi zz111, I getting my AA, though it took me years. but I'm finally doing something I always wanted to do, not because anyone told me, but because i wanted to do it for myself. any if I ever go back to work, I'll have something to show for the years I was not working. Being the only one in the family to get a degree feels good. I just hope my daughter goes to college right after high school which will be in 2 years.

I have a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree. In my area, I have trouble getting a job with two degrees, with three I'd be overqualified for everything, so I won't be going to a Doctorate. Only went for the Master's to keep my teaching certification and that is being held against me, if I could get a teaching degree, that would be fine, but . . ..

Congratulations on your diploma! I have two degrees: 1 - Bachelor of Business - major in marketing 2 - Bachelor of Education - Primary It is the best thing I ever did getting a bachelor in education, as I am now a Primary School teacher. I love my job with a passion so it was worth the studies and late nights lol. Keep at your studies, it will be well worth it in the end.

well i finished my high school or what they say secondary school. i did a diploma course in a private school due to circumstances and now though it's not much of a big deal, am a proud diploma holder as well. though not much practise you could say. i do plan to further my education but that still has a long way to go as i'm now married with 2 kids so they are my first priority now.
