A wounded soldier has undergone a history-making procedure to regrow the finger he lost in a bomb attack in Baghdad last year. Doctors applied a special powder nicknamed "pixie dust" to Army Sgt. Shiloh Harris' finger. They expect the powder to trick Harris' body into regrowing tissue. This is amazing. I wonder if it will work. What do you think? WOuld you be part of an experimental procedure?

I think that it is amazing what doctors can do nowdays with all their reseach and testing. This will be a great thing regrowing things that have been amputated or blown off. It will give children and adults new life and cancer patients and diabetics whom have had to have something removed. Maybe even go as far as letting a child walk or run again after having something amputated. I would like to see ovary and other female parts replacement surgeries for woman who want but cannot have kids. I know they are people who can do that for us or we can adopt but it isn't the same as having and carring your own. I am hoping that it works and is stable, it would mean a giant step in the right direction for scientist and researchers. Would I do it? I think I would. It would be something that would give me hope of living a normal ordinary life.

I think that is truly amazing also. I really hope it works for him. that would be great if the finger grows and works again. I think there are alot of new and modern technology these days. I bet they will get it to work one way or another. I wish the soldier the best of luck with it.

Wow, that sound pretty cool. It is amazing the advances in medicine and science that we have been seeing in recent years. I would go for the procedure if there were a chance to regrow a limb.
