Would you change?

If you had the opportunity (somehow) to change sexes for the day, would you take advantage of it? I would totally want to be a guy for the day. The only downside I can see is when I go back I will know the "secrets" and that would freak me out! I think I might be able to relate a little too much at that point.

Given the choice, I would definitely not change at all. I would prefer to have things as they are and figure stuff from the other as much as interacting with them or from alternative sources. Good day.

Yes molly, I would TOTALLY take advantage of it. I'd swicth to a guy right beforee it was time to give birth to a baby-- and let my hubby get stuck doing it!

Hi wooitsmolly, No, absolutely not. One day is just 23 hours and 56 minutes. Not nearly long enough to grasp even the basic tenets of a different set of emotional and intellectual faculties, not to mention the myriad complexities of an entirely different social perspective. Just figuring out what to wear for the first time would use up at least half the day, and then it would be time to change into pyjamas and get ready for bed! And even the longest day would never suffice for even the tiniest sampling of human experiences like shopping, socializing, cooking, eating, communicating, learning and adventuring. No, changing gender for just one day would be a non-event. A brief, bewildering and disorienting speed bump in the flow of life, serving little benefit aside from engendering the hope that it doesn't happen again anytime soon.

Yes, I would. I would like to be a female for one day and try to understand their mentality. I have never really understood girls and I would love to take that opportunity to understand them. I don't think there are any downsides to this. bourne

Not me. The thought of thinking as irrational as a man for an entire day! I would have nightmares for months afterwards. Besides don't you think having something hanging between your legs all day would chafe?

Actually, when I first read this, I was thinking that I would want to change sexes for just a day. At least then maybe I'd understand men better. But when I thought of it again, maybe it's better this way. Even if I don't always understand them, there's still the thrill of what they call "getting to know" and "getting to understand" each other. There would be no thrill if I knew the males too well.
