My baby is just a year and 8 months old. Having him, is just completed my life. He is a very wonderful son. Most of the time, he tries to be independent. Like when I want to feed him, he will ask for his rice bowl, his own set of spoon and fork and his cup. He will try to eat by himself though most of the time, the food will be scattered on the floor instead of going straight into his mouth. He doesn't like any toys except balls. He loves all kind of balls so much that my husband told me once, maybe our son is going to be a great Pele. He loves cartoons too but not Transformer or all the superheroes. He only loves cute little cartoons that looks as fat and chubby as him. The only other thing that he has at home is his mini bike. At first, when he knew how to ride it, I tried to teach him like putting his two feet on the paddle and ride the bike. But, every time I try to help, he will refuse it and tries very hard to ride it by himself. Once, I pulled the bike from behind and he hit my hands - didn't let me to help him move his mini bike. Two days ago, I called my husband to come and eat. My husband was in his closed computer room. So, I knocked the door while calling him, "Dear, come and eat!" Out of sudden, my son came and knocked the door too, while shouting this, "Dear, Dear....eat! Dear, Dear, eat!" My husband came out immediately after hearing that. Both of us laughed really hard at him and he told my son, "Sorry, I am not your Dear, boy!"

hi gr8life! it seems that you have a wonderful son. i can imagine him eating on his own with food not only scattered on the table but on his face! judging by his behavior, i'm sure he's going to grow up as an independent kid. he wants to try everything all by himself. its cute for kids like that to act so independent. and to think he's just turning two! right? you're lucky to have a son like him. you're lucky just for having him. its times like this that makes me imagine my future and dream of having my own babies. oh, what is his name? ^__^

Hello secretbear, He is really testing my patience - most of the times *smiles* But, of course I am so glad to have him in my life. Previously he seems to be close to his Dad due to the fact that he didn't see him since he was four months old till he was one. But now, I am glad that he is closer to me than his Daddy. I am his mother, right? *laughs* Whenever Daddy scolds him, he will straight call me, "Ami! Ami!" (short form for Mommy) and runs and hides behind me and starts to play hide and seek with his angry Daddy. Oh, it is such a priceless gift from God!

Your baby boy is quite smart... just like you... and i think he will make a lot of girls fall in love with him in the futures... Kids these days are so smart and intelligent... my baby already knows how to turn on the DVD player... and she know what Hi-5 cd she wants to watch and has already memorized most of the songs and dialogues... She is only 25 months old... but she has this affinity for cars... and one time when we left the mall... she was crying her heart out because wanted to take the remote control toy car home... but i didn't have the money to buy it... when i told this to my father, who is home for a vacation... he immediately took her to the mall and bought her a remote control toy car that she can ride... it was quite expensive... but she love it very much... She plays, sings, eats, and do mostly everything in the car... except for sleep... I love my baby... and she is the best thing that ever happened in my life...

He was cuteand very lovable..at his age ..kids are always observant like a sponge that immitate what they hear or seen(action)...its a very delicate stage for them in terms of their learning process..

Awwww. That is so cute. It sounds like you have a wanderful son. Children pick up on so many things and when we hear them speak our adult words, it is so funny. they know how to say those words but they have no clue what they actually mean. I bet he thought he was a big boy by saying that to his daddy.
