I think mine is crocheting. I am learning to knit but still very unsure of myself at it. I have crocheted since for 35 years on the other hand and it is very easy for me. I especially love those lacy doilies...you know, the kind grandma used to make all the time. I guess I am getting older now like grandma LOL

I like crocheting too! Though I don't get to do as much of it as I would like too! I did crochet a few things for my 8 month old grand daughter. I also like to make faith related jewelry when time allows as well. I have knitted a few things before, but crocheting comes a lot easier to me.

Baby Blanket -
This is a baby blanket that I completed not long ago.
Other than relaxing with a book, I'd have to say that crochet is my favorite as well. Unlike you, though, I can't do doilies and such - I always lose my place and I've never worked well with thread. I can't even do a decent granny square! I prefer the 'back and forth' of baby blankets and afghans and such. I've included a picture of a baby blanket that I completed not too long ago.

I love to crochet. It's my one hobby. It's so relaxing and I love seeing the finished project. And if something isn't right, it's easy to rip it out and try again.

Hey Granny! Just wait till you learn to knit. Then you can knit lacey doilies. I cannot for the life of me imagine people like to knit those things when crochet is so much more fun. I love to crochet and I love to knit. Especially when I'm watching tv in the evening my hands tend to become restless and I need to "do" something. Don't worry if you can crochet then you'll pick up knitting too. It's about tension just like crochet is. There are so many kinds of knitting to get into as well. Cables are a challenge and so are lacy patterns. Fair Isle works with a load of colours. Whatever kind you will go for I hope you have fun and enjoy!

I love to crochet, too. I like to make coasters and doilies and often connect them together to make something else. I don't do a lot of crochet, lately. It seems like I go through a time where I am always doing it, then I go through a time where I don't do any at all. It's like that with all my hobbies. I'm glad I have a lot of hobbies as I can rotate them as I get tired of them. That way, I never totally give up on them.

Mine has to be sewing, but I mainly sew in the winter months, for some unknown reason it seems as if its a winter hobby.I like to patchwork ,very much and I also will do some crewel work,I dont patch in the modern way though,I prefer the old fashioned way .you patch in random clours with no particular design. The modern way is maching ,in blocks and then joing all of the blocks together

My mom loves to do crocheting, i had tried to learn from her but i get bored easily doing the same thing! But i am really amazed just hooking the thread in the needle and pulling , gives such good results! I like to fabric paint, i take all the clothes that are plain and that can be painted into something extra ordinary. Any thing for that matter, say a plain table cloth, a cushion cover, a plain tee shirt too! That is the best way for me to loosen myself and also express my self.

Believe it or not, I love to make any sort of crafts. I do know how to crochet and had done some before but now I am hooked to cross-stitching. I am doing a small piece of a wild white flower with a dark blue background. I think I have stitched about one fourth of the whole piece. I don't know when will I finish it since I am into myLotting lately. Soon as I finish it, I will post a topic here. LOL. I do love to make blings for cellphones, fancy earrings, bracelets and other small accessories, but now no more. I'm thinking of making this hobby be a business. LOL. Take care =)
