Associated Content Bought 2 Articles!

Yay! :) I went ahead and gave it a try. I wrote two small articles for them and they bought them! I was paid $4.16 for one and $3.88 for the other. Does anyone know if these are normal prices or pretty low? Does anyone else ever write for them? If so, what kind of articles do you write? Mine have been food related so far....

Oh, I just wrote a couple articles about food. I'd like to know what kinds of things others are writing about though...

I write with AC a lot. I get paid between $3-5 for most of my articles (plus performance pay on all of them). While I have heard that people can make more then that, the most I have ever been paid for an article there is $7.20. However, I have watched my performance pay go up each month and I am pleased with it. Performance pay certainly helps to make the whole thing worth it!

yeah I usually get between $3-5 for each article (sometimes less for C4C news items--but I usually make up for it in the performance bonus).
Since the upfront payments are not that high, I'm focusing more on getting my page views up. Having a higher page view average is supposed to lead to higher upfront offers.

I would say these are normal based on my own experience getting upfront and it's cool that you got some upfront. I've written there over a year and have made some money and have been trying to get the performance bonus to rise up even higher. I write there on occasion if I have any ideas on what to write of course but I try to put more focus on trying to get more page views.
Maybe it's the type I write and I love sports material and video gaming but mostly on there sports. I've written some technical and sometimes on a misc. scale.

They are normal prices. You may earn more after you have been there awhile or when the market is up. Enjoy!

Great! I write for Associated Content but they don't buy from non US writers. From what I have heard, they don't pay a lot when they do buy though. They do pay for reads though, so anyone who is not a US writer can be paid a small amount for reads. This is currently $1.50 per thousand, so you won't get rich quick. They do pay out every month into a Paypal account though.

There is a great demand for article writers. If you hang around places where webmasters hang around you would get loads of offers.
As for your other question that depends. £2 and about £1 for an article don't really look that much, but then how long were the articles and what quality were they?
Good start though, keep up the good work!
