I'm a big shoe fiend. And, if I had things my way, I'd probably spend a thousand dollars on a pair of really gorgeous shoes. Alright, maybe not a thousand dollars. Maybe three hundred. For me, that would be a lot of money. The most money I've spent on shoes was probably fifty dollars, at one time. I don't have those shoes anymore. But, I do still have my athletic shoes that I spent thirty dollars on. At first I didn't use them a lot, but then I got pregnant and they were a life saver. I wore them everywhere. In fact, those tennis shoes are the only thing that kept me standing with all the weight from my stomach. What's the most amount of money you've ever spent on a pair of shoes? Do you still have those shoes?

I so love shoes! That's something I'll shop for the entire day and won't get tired of doing so. Last December, I had extra dough after receiving my 13th month pay, and mostly spent to buy shoes. Since I live in PI, buying shoes more than 30$ is already expensive. But for me, no matter how much a pair of fab shoes cost, it won't matter to me as long as it fits and looks good on my feet. And I kind of bought more than enough shoes, most of them I only have used once. And I have this pair of boots that I bought from Nine West, the original price was almost 200$ but I got it only for 15$, they were totally having a clearance sale that time. I think I can say I am a spendthrift person. But if I'm earning big enough and could afford a Christian Louboutin stilettos or boots, I wouldn't mind buying myself one. Sometimes it makes us feels good to splurge something to ourselves, something that we reward ourselves after working hard and we deserve it. =)

What's that converted to US dollars, do you know? I'm terrible with conversions. Most I'm paying now is less than $100 per pair.

My most expensive pair was proberly around $60.00 for a pair of Reebox. I use to be really crazy about shoes myself. When I worked at Walmart in the She Department. Every time I got paid I bought a new pair of shoes and I always looked in the clearence racks for clothes.I don't think I have those Reebox anymore. I most of the time wear shoes that slide on really easy now.

The most i've ever spent on a pair of shoes before was about 120$, they were marked down from 350$ so it was a pretty good deal I guess.

That's a really cool deal. I love bargains like that. Shoes are a necessity. And, paying a bit more for quality shoes is well worth it.

The most I ever spent on footwear was $190 something for a pair of black boots. They have a kitten heal, maybe an inch or an inch and a half high. I have flat feet so heals tend to hurt me but, not my boots. I got them last fall and, they are my favorite things to wear! They are stylish and gorgeous and so comfortable! I wouldn't normally spend so much on any footwear but, it always takes me forever to find a shoe with a comfortable heal that is also pretty. And, once I saw them, I had to have them. I bought them from the Piperlime site which is the online shoe store that is tied to the gap. I saw them but they didn't have them in my size. So, I stalked them for about 2 weeks until someone returned a pair in my size! Yay! I bought them as soon as I saw them! What luck! They are perfect. Normally I shop for shoes at Payless. So, usually my shoes are pretty inexpensive.

A good pair of shoes will last a long time and are always worth it. Good for you, that you found some boots you love. When we lived in colder weather, I wore my boots everywhere. Now they lie dormant waiting for the day it snows. That will never happen, here!

My most expensive pair of shoes is probably going to be above and beyond anyone on here, or at least anyone willing to admit they spend the same amount on rent as on a pair of shoes. My most expensive pair is a pair of Jimmy Choo's and I think they were either $625 or $650, i can't remember which now. While I'm aware this is a huge amount to spend on a pair of shoes, I still have them, and I bought them almost 5 years ago now. My main splurge is shoes, so I'm frugal with everything else to be able to afford the shoes that I want. As a contrast, the cheapest shoes I've ever gotten were $3(not flip flops, those are all cheap). I found a pair of Nine West heels marked down because the strap had broken to $1.50. I took it to the repair shop, and another $1.50 later I had new shoes. So I buy at all ends of the scale.

I like shoes. Few years ago a 300 pesos shoes is something. But not shoes ranges from 500 to 1000. I have so far bought a 1000 pesos shoes and its nice and comfortable. I dont buy buying expensive shoes as long as I like it and comfortable to use. I just have this G.H. Bass and Co. and quite expensive but comfortable.

That would have to be my black knee high boots. I had always wanted a pair, but found it hard to find a pair that would fit me, plus I could never afford a pair. I finally bit the bullet and decided to have a pair and invested in some leather ones in the hopes they would last me a while, I paid £65.00 ($130) for them and I have had them for 2 years, they still look as good as when I bought them, they have served me well!!!

I think they cost me around Rs. 5500. That's around $ 120 in American Currency. They were Nike Running shoes. I love them and I wear them now and then. I still have them because I bought them recently. They are a pair of very good shoes and they are very comfortable to wear and use. bourne

Hello BeautyQueen26, I bought a really cute pair of hi-heeled sandals once for $140. That was the most I've paid for a single pair of shoes that I can remember and I do still have them. I have lots of shoes and I do love my heels. Its hard to go shopping without at least visiting the shoe stores at the mall. Seems like I always come home with at least one new pair. Your truly, Tianna

I'm not a big shoe person, so probably my most expensive shoe was probably either my skecher or nike tennis shoes about$50. I have a pair of skecher boots that Ive had for about 5 years or so...they are more dressy shoes, and I didnt pay a whole lot for them. I also have a brown pair of dress shoes that I wear sometimes. Ive had them for awhile...they are from walmart. So I am surprised I still have them LOL

First I will say that I HATE buying shoes and I keep them until they fall apart. I also don't wear too many different kinds. I wear athletic shoes most of the times since I am a BBW (I haven't seen that term for a long time!) and it helps my feet not to hurt. I wore them at work most of the 30 years that I taught. I think the most I spent was $65 and the ones I have now were originally that much but I got them for just over $50. When I am at home I am generally barefoot, which I am NOT supposed to do, but it is most comfortable for me. Even my slippers bother me in the house. As a child, I was barefoot most of the summer when I didn't have flip-flops on.......of course, we called them thongs! They were the least expensive "shoes" you could buy........about 59 cents back then, I think!!

Well the most expensive pair that I've bought myself were $60 black silk flats from Steve madden. My mother used to pay for my footwear and the most expensive were around $180. But they were track spikes. Now-a-days the shoes I buy range from $3 to $35 dollars.

I think the most I have spent is about $100 and that was on my hiking boots. I didn't want cheap ones that I could sprain an ankle in. I wanted to make sure I got really good ones. But as far as every day shoes I don't think I have ever spent more than $30. Most of my shoes were only $20. I won't pay a lot of money for shows, like $150 or $200, like my sister does.
