For example people tend to talk about themselves when they are in a discussions or conversations. In case a person is a good listener could you say that he is a selfless and good person and that he could be for others......

not necessarily...u have to consider the person as a whole, not just a good listener...some good listeners might just be shy and quiet people who just dont like to talk. u have to look at the person's whole personality to tell if the person is a good person or not. some loud big mouths are good people, they just enjoy running their mouth and dont know when to stop.

Hi ramyashreesk! Just because of listening, one does not become selfless or good. A listener need not always be a good person. It all depends on his approach to other aspects also! Whether he could be so, for others, others have to judge and decide!

Yes I cannot agree more. A person who listens to you shows that he/ she is interested in what you are tryin to say and is surely a good person. Although Good in the sense that he respects you. Con Artistes are also good listeners, now you wouldn't call them good if they stole your purse would you? They say that a couple should be engaged 6 months before their marriage and that they should talk everyday for the following six months because thats how they will come to know each other. If they are not good listeners, then they surely would know. bourne
