They never appear when you are answering, only when viewing so you can rate each response and the discussion. Least they have never appeared in the answer box for me.

If your talking about the rating boxes on the right, they don't show up when someone responds to a discussion cause that would be you can rate yourself. You also won't see them in your response after you post it. Only other peoples' responses.

You can only rate each discussion, response or comment ONE time. If the box is not there then that indicates you have already rated that particular post.

Yeah, it would kind of be unfair if you got to rate yourself. But, when you make friends on MyLot, they will rate your discussions positively. If you suspect someone is not giving you a positive rating, then you shouldn't be friends with them. Or, you could simply find other friends who will give you a positive rating. It's a community and it's all about sharing.
That happens to me sometimes when I go to the discussion via email. But it's because I haven't actually logged into Mylot yet. Makes me feel really dumb. lol

If you answer from e-mail, you do not see them. If you post a response you will see them when it goes through and you get to tag it.

If you logged out and then looked at your responses you would see your own boxes. Because you cannot rate your own answers or questions it doesn't even give you the boxes as an option.

The boxes are here sweetheart! I am guessing that you are talking about the rating boxes on the right? If so you won't see them whilst responding but before or after they should still be there! If not then perhaps you should contact mylot? If I have the wrong end of the stick here then just mail me - you've got the address! Hugs xxx

You have the right idea I dont have the rating boxes even with this post? They where there when I first started mylot because I liked to rate every one a positive for answering my post? Maybe I shouldnt have given every one positives and mylot will not let me rate any more? I know we do not rate ourselves as someone stated? Thanks. Pat xxxx

Hi Gollywog! I have all the three boxes all the time and I rate all the posts and responses all the time too. Maybe, there is just some minor glitch in your profile, maybe you can write to the mylot admin about that problem you are experiencing right now.
