I am finally back, boy was it a very hard month trying to meet my deadline but I did, I got out 95 articles in a little over two weeks! I feel good, I can relax now. I had so much work I didn't even put out my e-zine for two weeks, but I made my deadline. Are you able to keep to deadlines or do you have trouble prioritizes the important things in your life?

Good gracious, that's a lot of writing! What sort of client are you working for that requires that much? If you could write even a small portion of that for Associated Content on an ongoing basis, you could be making some good money!

associated content is garbage it does not pay anything, these people pay 3 times as much as associated content give. clients have major projects they are major websites that need work done and that is what we are payed to do.

Hmmm ... As a writer, I would think you should put something akin to 'in my opinion' in there somewhere. There are a lot of people making a fair amount of money on Associated Content. Who is this 'client' of yours that is so great?

Me to, I had to take the last week off to clean and plan my sisters 7th Birthday party at my house and wasn't able to get on but a few moments a day or not at all. So now the party is over and my feet no longer throb to the beat of Hannah Montana music which is what the party was themed, I even had to make a cupcake electric guitar cake. Hey that is great that you made your deadline. It must have been a relief to make it. I try to make the deadline but sometimes things happen and I miss it by a little bit time wise. Relax? you probably like me have a ton of Mylot notifications in your inbox that need to be answered or replied to. I have right now almost 200 Mylot to catch up to. I have Dial-up so it will take awhile but more and more pile on everyday so it seems that the more I try to catch up the harder it is especially since mine is so slow with a 14bp modem I can't wait to get my other computer out of the shop with a 56 K modem..might not be high speed but faster then a 14bp.

Good for you!!! I have no trouble keeping deadlines that involve me using my computer, since I spend days and days, and hours and hours, sitting at The Second Cup, infront of my computer. LOL ;-) It's no problem for me at all.

writing research articles is not the same as gathering and mylotting, you sometimes have to hunt for hours on the net to find the info, and it is not easy no matter how many hours there are in a day to meet a big deadline, a research article can take anywhere from 2 hours to 6 to complete, and that is just one of them

If given a deadline, I would make sure I keep to deadlines. It is a promise I made good for myself and I am a person of my word. I do not commit to deadlines which I feel is unrealistic.

wow 95 articles in two weeks??? that's amazing!! for me, i'm so lazy to do even one article though it would be really good for myself if i did. but i'm bad at it and i need time to do one article. i think it would be tough for me to keep that deadline but of course, if it were given to me, then i'd make sure that i take work that i'm able to complete within the deadline. i don't have that much trouble in prioritizing my life though it is tough to stand by it at times as i feel lazy sometimes.

Congratulations on your achievements. Hard work pays off. I try to keep intact with what I am doing. Mostly I do multi-tasking to get more things done. The more you do at one time gets more done at less time. Keep it up!

not with writing I found that to get it done faster you have to give it your full attention, I have tried it both ways, I also had to set a goal of how many I needed to get done each day to meet the deadline.

95 for 2 weeks? WOW! I am speechless, a lot of overtime for sure winterose? but, I know accomplishing like that is truly rewarding. I used to procrastinate when I was working, and rushing only to finish paperwork when it is about deadline..LOL! I tried hard to change that bad habit and this time that I am more mature, I know now how to prioritize things!

Welcome back winterose. It sounds like you were very very busy. I don't have trouble with deadlines. I am the type of person that once I start something I don't like to quit until it is finished.

except with writing assignments if you don't make the deadline they take the project off you and you can't finish to the end in many cases though. I never like to leave things unfinished just like you as well.

I hate deadlines. Years ago I was writing for acommunity newspaper, I thought I might want to work as journalist. I just hated having deadlines and it really turned me off of journalism.

95 that is amazing, in 2 weeks as well. You should get a gold star for that! I would not be able to stick to a deadline like that, mind you I have 4 kids to deal with so that is why. I guess if I had more time available then I would be able to do it. I do have trouble prioritizing the important things in life, I used to be so organized but just lately I have lost my rythym and things just go off in all directions! I really need to get myself sorted.

yes you are right, with four kids it wouldn't be possible, you have to know what time you have available for each of the activities and then again divide your time to say oh yes I have to get this much done per day to meet the deadline

Wow, that is a lot of articles completed! I do have trouble with some deadlines, but if its money related have to get it done. This is a hard year in my business, so I'm doing more posting to help make ends meet. My daughter is now attending college part time, which has reduced my stress. Lately, she has been working more hours, so is able to deal with her bills. My problem is under stress I eat, so all my weight loss has returned. Hopefully, in July I'll have better news, as am trying to come up with good discussions. Its sure not easy and amazes me to see some people make it look easy.

of course there is money involved if not I would not have taken on such a big project, it is a lot of work and tired me out. I hope things to work out for you by July, a stress free life, wouldn't it be wonderful?

I hope the pay was good. Man that would kill me to have to do that. I simply couldn't. I'm not a happy camper, this is now day 5 I have not got any myLot Emails so God only knows why. Everyone else seems to be OK.
