So I have a disc hitting my nerve. They are treating it with steriods which I hate, they dont work yet either! IF tHIS doesnt work I have to go to a specialist. Most of the time I wish I had surgery and just get the job done and over with!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know where you are located but.... I had the same problem (well still do) and I was seeing a Naturopath who sent me to a chiropractor who uses a device called a disc pump. I feel so much better I can't even tell you. If it's available in your area, I'd strongly suggest you look into it and see if you're comfortable with the idea. Downside: not covered by many insurances.

thanks. i've been to the chiropractor and I dont think that they have it. They have me on the steriods and then off to the specialist it goes. the chiropractor explained my problem as more of a boulging disc. Not herniated yet.

It's the same thing I believe and most chiropractors do not have the device. But all I can say for sure is that it helped me a lot!

I'm sorry to hear that you have back problems and the steroids do not help you. My mom used to have that done also. she eventually had to have surgery though because she has osteoperosis and her bones are deteriorating. She stays in alot of pain, even after the surgery. My unlce had back surgery though and he is doing better and feels fine.
