I recently planted a pepper plant, but it's leaves are kind of droopy. They were that way at the store, but I was intrigued because the plant already had a little pepper on it. It has adequate water and i even fertilized it. It's still kind of droopy. What should I do?

Yes, you want to water it but avoid over watering. The soil around the plant should be loose and not packed too tightly. This will allow the roots to spread out. A little TLC will go a long way. As the plant grows, make sure it is supported. I use metal tomatoes rings to support my pepper plants. I surround the plant with straw. When it rains, dirt does not bounce up and land on the bottom side of the leaves. You might try washing the leaves carefully. It will help the leaves to breathe. Look for any bugs that might be hindering the growth of your plant. I use Miracle-Gro to fertilize.

It's droopy because either the store personal weren't watering it like they should or it had outgrown the pot it came in. No matter thou cause after a few days, your pepper plant should be all perky again long as it's well watered.

Maybe some miracle grow to help it and nourish it a bit?
