Gas Prices just topped $3.89 here. Its the thrid jump in price in the last two weeks. I remember when I was younger say mid nintys gas was running at just one dollar a gallon. What is the lowest you can remember gas being, (while you were alive)? What is gas running for where you are?

Before when i was still in elementary diesel was just 7 Pesos a liter now it has swollen to almost 55 Pesos a liter. I just finished my college and im thinkin of buying gas as a business. I'd keep it for a year and then sell it again im sure id make a lot of money. Btw, i'm from the Philippines.

Man the jump in gas prices all over the world has gotten me worried about the world economies and not just my own.

I can remember petrol here in the UK before It got to £1 a (UK) Gallon, and after we changed over to Litres,£1 a Litre was another landmark..A Local Garage has £1.25 a Litre up on the pumps at present..that's £5.68 a Gallon!

fully understandable. I've been trying, but my girl owns a ranch and sometimes I have to use the tractor due to the fact the donkeys were behaving.

yes the price for gas sucks!!!!!! I am so tired and frustrated paying so much for gas. I really try not to drive too much and my new job is within 5 miles from my home. I am hoping the new administration will address this issue immediately and really push for alternative fuels, and energy and hopefully we can reduce our usage of fossil fuels and the price will come down as hopefully the demand won't be so high. Lets also hope the economy picks up too that would also help.

Gas here in Manitoba is running about 1.50 / litre. Yes I said litre we do not go by gallons. If we were going by gallons we would be about $5.00 a gallon. I remember gas being around 0.19 a litre. Those were sure the days to say the least. I honestly couldn't care how much the gas is to be honest. We all use fuel to survive with our vehicles. Mind you we don't use gas we use diesel. Which really it doesn't make no difference on the prices. It is still pretty much the same. I do however love one thing about gas price increases is higher gas prices = less people driving = making it to my destination alot faster.

I agree with you. Gas prices are absolutely outrageous!!! I am so glad that I can't see well enough to drive. I don't think I could afford a car. I'm just as happy riding the bus, but that's getting expensive too because of bus fare.

Gas where I live today is $3.85. I can remember when I first started driving gas was .95 a gallon. I really try to limit my driving to only going somewhere if I'm going to make money and make all of my trips at once. And another thing I've really started watching the way I drive. I use cruise control religously now. And I always drive the speed limit try to avoid high traffic areas at all costs. People would be really surpised at how their driving skills affect their gas mileage.
