As promised here is a photo taken today of Alfred. As you can see he still has some scabbing on his nose but the worst of the chemical burn was around his left eye. If you look closely you'll see that he has no hair here. It's growing back slowly! He's also sticking his tongue out in this photo so he looks a little bit funny. He's doing really well and everything is back to normal. He's a lucky little cat and he's my spoilt baby now.

Awwww. Poor little thing. I am glad that Alfred is alright now. I'm glad that Alfred is healing well also. That is so cute. He is a very lucky cat. How did he get in the chemical? I must not have got to that discussion yet if you made one about it.

We're not sure what happened. There was a puddle of disinfectant on the bathroom floor. It could have been that. One thing is for sure-it's just as important to protect your animals from dangerous things like this as it is for babies!

Hi coffeeshot! Oh I am really glad little Alfred is healing nicely and is out of danger. I am sure he will grow up to be a very handsome cat and those burns will somehow be more appealing for the other cat ladies. haha..I agree with you that he is one lucky cat indeed! And I am very sure he is enjoying being spoiled by you.

Awww look at his sweet looking face!!!! He's adorable!! I bet he's your spoiled little baby now for he should be after all he went through.... I'm so glad he's on the mend now!! Bless his sweet little heart!!

OMG what happened to Alfred (love the name btw LOL)...how did he wind up with a chemical burn?? Sorry if you've explained elsewhere in this thread I just read your post, looked at the pic and am now replying....

You have an adorable little cat tatty! No wonder he's your spoilt little baby; he would be hard to resist! I can see where the damge was done round his nose, but glad to hear it's all healing nicely and he will soon be back to normal.
He certainly is one luckly little cat.

Awww, I'm glad he's doing better. That hair on the face and around the eye seems to grow back the slowest. I'm sure you are just spoiling him because of what he's gone thru. I'd just love to come and love on him too!.
I love catching pix of cats with their tongues out, but the visually impaired roomie caught this one.
