Has anyone gotten the new Paypal Debit card? Is it good for MyLot members, too?

I've got a little extra money in my Paypal account this past month, thanks to MyLot and my other online earnings programs. But, I don't want to move it to my bank account, for personal reasons. I've seen the new Paypal debit card and was wondering if it's for real. The last time I got a debit card from a bank, they charged a $10 monthly fee, even though I never used it, even once. I'm not sure if Paypal charges a monthly fee or ATM fee. Do you have the new Paypal debit card? Is it more convenient to use their debit card, than withdrawing money into your bank account? Where do you use their debit card, most?

I am afraid to say that I don't really know anything about the paypal debit card sweety! I think I have found that I use paypal to buy things my kids need online so it never seems to get full enough for a debit card! Hope someone else can help more! Hugs xxx

I have a paypal debit card, but it's not new, I've had it for years. You can use it as a debit card with a pin #,or use it like a credit card and earn back 1.5% of what you spend back into your paypal account. Of course, either way you can't use it unless the money is in your paypal account. There is a fee for withdrawing from an ATM, I believe it's $1.50. I use my card anywhere that I shop that accepts Mastercard....but I mostly use it to order items online which require credit card purchase. Hope this helps you some. Marsha

I use my PayPal debit card all the time. There is a fee if you take cash out of the ATM (as you would if you went to an ATM that didn't belong to your bank), but that is it. Anywhere crdit cards are accepted, you can use the paypal debit card. That is odd your bank charged for an Debit card. I have had one for years and have never been charged for it.

i haven't seen the paypal debit card and i don't know if it is already available to my country. even so i think i prefer to withdraw my paypal money to my local bank rather than to have a debit card since the fee in withdrawing is much lower.

I have had mine for alittle over a year and it's great. No waiting for transfers and it works like any other Debit/creditcard. The money does have to be in your paypal account to use it.

I will have to keep looking here, as I was thinking about the Paypal debit card as well. I have transferred money to my bank before, and I have also shopped online with my paypal balance.

I have had a PayPal debit card since I opened my PayPal account 6 years ago. I never transfer money to my bank account. I use my money straight out of my PayPal account at the gas station, grocery store, mall, movies. You can use it anywhere. They have you set up a PIN number so you can use it at the ATM also. They do charge a fee for ATM withdrawals, but not if you get cash back at the cash register. It is a great thing to have. I would suggest that everyone get one.

Hmm...this would be a good idea for me too. I'm going to look into this. It would be nice to skip sending it to my bank account. Wouldn't have to wait days after payments either. Great discussion!
