If you could only have 1 kind of ice cream for the rest of your life, what would it be? I would have to say Perry's Mint-Ting-a-Ling. I love mint ice cream but hate the hard chocolate chips. Perry's has like a cookie piece instead. So what would it be for you?

It has 3 flavors and 3 colors. Blue is blue moon flavored, pink is black cherry, and yellow is vanilla. It is soooo yummy! You should try it sometime.

When I was an adolescent there used to be an old ice cream/ dessert parlor from the 1930s in a riverside town where my friends & I would frequent. It was fantastic! For the life of me I cannot recall the name and sadly by the time I was 21 or 22 the family biz was bought out & I think it was converted into a shoe store or something lame as that. Still, the ice cream parlor in it's final years remained a genuine beauty of a time machine. This was no novelty themed, cookie cutter type joint. I think it was the only shop in that town that the kids, and adults, respected and did not act stupid or rude. Anyway they used to make their own ice cream & bake on the premises. They made THE BEST peanut butter ice cream on the eastern seaboard. OMFG this stuff would knock you to your knees it was so delicious! If I was on the go I'd ask one of the owners to whip it into a shake for me. That was awesome because they'd give it to you in a cup almost the size of a 7-11 Big Gulp tumbler for less than $3 bucks! That was in 1989! You can't get a quality shake like theirs at that size for that price today. But they served their hard peanut butter ice cream, & other flavors too, in five huge rounded scoops on a cut glass dish with a sprig of mint from their garden in the back and & 3 short bread cookies and a tall glass of ice water. All for $5.00 dollars even. If anyone only wanted 3 scoops it was $2.75 I think. My fave toppings for it, if I were in the mood, was either caramel-or peanut butter sauce-or real thick heated hot fudge [to get my Reese's fix] or butterscotch [which paired perfectly]. But mostly I took it plain. So this particular smooth & sweet peanut butter ice cream would be it for me. Yummmm. 8^D

This is such a cruel question! It's a clear choice for me, however. Straciatella is the way to go! It has always been straciatella for me. ^^ I couldn't miss it in the world.

I love chocolate but not as much chocolate ice cream, which is a little weird. My husband would probably choose what you like though:)

It would be a toss up between two. Either vanilla because you can vary it so much with different toppings or if I had to choose one flavour with things in it already, my absolute favourite is Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey. (A small container all to myself...lol)That stuff is just decandent.

I would say Blue Bunny's Bunny Trax. It is sooo good. It's vanilla ice cream with a chocolate ribbon and little chocolate bunnies in it that have a peanut butter filling. YUM!

I would choose ice cream that is flavoured with real vanilla pods. You can tell because you see the little black specks in it. I'll tell you why I would choose that. you see with only that flavour you can add fruit. You can add a flavoured syrup. You can add chocolate sprinkles. You can add pieces of cookies. I cannot think of one thing that would not go well with vanilla ice cream at all! So if i were to be thrown into a universe where only one flavour was available I'd hope it was the one where they have vanilla flavoured ice cream.

I would decide for joghurt with forest fruits. It is anyway the only ice cream I eat usually. So I would be happy with it.

It is in our grocery stores and most ice cream shops. I live in New York, it might be a local thing but I always thought it wasn't. It is good!

I think I would take vanilla because it's easy to add things to it. I can add peanut butter, nuts, mints, chocolate, etc. But, I guess that would be cheating, wouldn't it. I just think that vanilla is so versatile. I don't even mind eating vanilla ice cream just by itself, too.

My pick would be Banana Split ice cream. The reason? All of my favorite flavors wrapped up in one flavor of ice cream. You got vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, banana, pineapple and some type of nut all put into one ice cream. I just love Banana Split ice cream. There are several brand names of this ice cream, so it is readily available in larger grocery stores.

For me it would be cookies and cream. I love that stuff. I grew up on Perry's as it is a local company. I toured the factory when I was in grade school. All the kids used to tour the factory on school field trips. I wanted to work there for about a year after the tour...lol.
