Well It is very hot out doors. It has been about 95 degrees here for weeks. I have been seeing so many people wearing socks with sandels. I was wondering why they wear socks if they have sandels on.Do you wear socks with your sandels? I do not. I do not really like socks at all, they are hot too me.

I have a strict no socks with sandals rule. I only wear socks with tennis shoes, usually in the winter and fall when it is colder here in Iowa. I think socks with sandals look silly.

I guess some of them are. I think some of them just don't know any better. I guess to some people it's better to wear socks with sandals than to show their bad feet. Me, if my toes are polished, I just wear tennis shoes. Simple as that.

Yea, some people just do not know better. I make sure my toenails are polished at all times, especially in the summer.

No I do not. I wear sandals to be comfortable and to avoid being too hot. So I don't like wearing socks with my sandals. I stay way too hot when I am wearing socks so I avoid it.

I know some people do it with new sandals as not to get blisters, and some people will keep doing it as they blister easily and this seems to not happen when your wear socks as the rubbing against the shoe is less or something? I don't like socks in sandels either, it's a no-no in my opinion, but everyone should be free to wear whatever they like. It can be kind of cute on little girls when they have socks with lace in their sandals :)

I have never worn socks with sandles. I always though that it looked funny when people wore socks with sandlas and I though the point of wearing sandles was to keep your feet cool. What I really dont understand is when people wear socks with flip flops!

No I would never wear socks with sandals, I just do not think that it looks right, and I would be way too hot. In the summer I like to wear my shoes so I can feel any breeze on my feet.

I am like you, it does not look right, and defeats the purpose of the cool sandals.

It's a total fashion disaster mixing sandals and socks. I know in Germany it's a commmon practice. I still think it looks goofy. Sorry anyone from Germany!

No I would not wear socks with sandles. I think that looks silly. I mean I might do it if I was wearing socks and just need to go out and get the mail or something, but I would not go outside of my own yard with socks and sandles on.

i think it's normal in our country.just wear silk stockings with sandels.for sometimes it can keep us free from the sandels hurt our feet.but i usually wear a slipper without silk socks.it's very comfortable for me.

I see people doing that too. I don't know why they would. Not only is it fashionably unacceptable but it doesn't make sense. Why would you wear socks with footwear that was designed to keep your feet cool? I don't do it and I think it looks silly.

The last time I wore sandals with socks was during college. These days I don't really feel like going back to that trend. They do feel hot to be in especially in a warm weather.
