You can try joining stumbleupon and add your blog to that. If other people using stumbleupon like it they will thumb it up and more and more people will find it using stumbleupon. I've heard stories that servers have crashed because of the stumbleupon effect. Stumbleupon by the way is a way to "channel surf" online to find sites based on your intrests. I've been a member for 2 years now and its just an awesome thing to have.

Hi, You could get traffic by joining forums, leave comments on blogs and social bookmarking. I think the methods I mentioned are used by a lot of people, so I think it would be working properly.

There's also a list of blog directories in the forum; however for best results, your blog should be six months old with regular posting. Every time you add a new post, ping your blogs RSS feed using sites such as this: http://pingates.com Write articles, and submit the to article directories.
