Do you get songs stuck in your head?

I have this annoying song stuck in my head. It's the title song from Cyberchase, an educational kids show on PBS. It just won't go away. All I hear is, "We've got the power of one, two, three, four...." I guess that's the reason why some people teach children using songs; they don't leave your mind. What songs do you get stuck in your head?

I have music playing in my head all the time when I'm not playing the radio or mylotting with my headphones. It tries to keep me relaxed. And my head plays stuff I like, not usually annoying stuff. My head= my noiseless iPod. -LAWL- F R E E THAT SPELLS FREE, CREDIT REPORT DOT COM BA-BY!! =B \m/ Becky Ann, the music addict.

It must be nice to have a mind that likes to work with you and not against you. :)

haha I think people from my school used to get our anthem stuck in their head too because everyone would go around singing it even though it was a boring song. Either that or they were making fun of it.

It happens to me a lot. My mom has always said that if you get a song stuck in your head the theme from Guilligan's Island with take it right out because it's so catchy it'll get stuck there instead.

I have songs stuck in my head on some occasions. It is just that the song is so catchy and the music so addictive that it refuses to leave my mind long after it has been played and heard. One such song that did so was one 'Fanaa' from the Tamil Movie 'Aayutha Ezhuthu'.It was such a catchy song with great trance style music that I couldn't get it out of my mind for days on end.Even now whenever I lesten to it I get engrossed in the music and the song.Just a great work of composition.

Sometimes, usually when I don't want them to get stuck. And the ones I want to get stuck, I can't remember.

yes, i have. "Gotta go my own way" a song from movie High School Musical. "i've got to move on and be who i am, i just don't belong here i hope you understand..." the words are just stuck in my mind. i guess i am luckier than you, i like this song. actually i wanna learn to sing it. i am kinda terrible singer. but that doesn't matter. i'm not the one who listen to the song. it won't be a suffering for me. lol.

Yes,of course. But I learned that the more annoying you think the song is, the harder it is to get out of your mind, so i tried and tested two tricks; and it works for me everytime. Trick number one: sing the annoying song out loud with gusto as if you really liked it then sing a favorite song. That usually dislodges the eww! song with the favorite one. Trick 2: catch the lyrics and evaluate.Usually, we come up with the same conclusion: its not that bad. When a song is "not that bad" anymore, having it run through your head is not as annoying as before. One of the two tricks might work for you. Try 'em and good luck!
