Discussions started by you

I have seen a lot of discussions started by people who then do not respond to those who have replied to their discussions. Neither is a best response marked even after a month or so. What to you do when you start a new discussion. I make it a point to acknowledge everyones responses and if there is nothing to say atleast a thank you for their response. Otherwise others would not know if I have read their responses. What do you do. Do you regularly check the discussions started by you and reply back to everyone? Your opinion pls.

Yup, I do responds to those mylotters who took the time reading and responding to my discussions. I rated most of them or all of them most of the time. It is really nice to know that there are people who take the time to read what you have in mind and share their thoughts as well. Cheers!

It is a very good habit. Keep it up. Otherwise there are some discussions started by mylotters who have just not acknowledged the responses received by them.

Hi dear i do the same as u do, i regulary check the discussion i have stsarted and if their is any response i reply to it, to me continuing the thread is more fun then to look for new discussion to post. Take care

I read, rate and answer every response to my discussions unless someone is being rude. But I have to admit that I usually forget to give a best response. I need to work on that.

I have not received any rude reply till date. And for best response I prefer to wait for a month or so before rating it. Thanks your reply and Happy Posting

This annoys me as well. But each member has their own ways of myLotting I guess. I add comments to most my responses as I see fit. Some don't require a comment but those that do get a cooment from me. That's what this is, a discussion forum, so a comment adds to the discussion and usually carries it further. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I wish all mylotters would learn to carry discussions further! They just dont respond to what you have said to them and it gets frustrating.

I do try to respond to everyone eventually, but sometimes 'real life' gets in the way of my computer time and my responses pile up in my inbox. Evetually, I will get to them though!

Its true that real life does sometimes get in our way. But whenever we log on we should always check the discussions we have started so that we can acknowledge all of them.

hi dear i do answer back each and every response i get on my discussions the only reason being tht it is my way of showing tht i m actually very grateful for the time someone spent reading my discussion and above all sharing their views on it..this is the least i can do to show i care..sometimes i do find a solution to my problem there..so i think it is must to do so..i did rather answer back my responses than start a new discussion..have a nice day...

Its a good habit of responding to all the discussions. I had raised this point because I have noticed a lot of discussions started by people where they have not replied to even a single one. And this hurt me a lot that my responses have not been acknowledged. Thanks for your reply.
