She does here own makeup and she does it so well. She looks beautiful after she's done.I some how can't do that i need someone to do it for me. I make a mess. one time i looked like a clown with lots of colors all over my face!!! So do you do your own makeup? have you ever made a big mess of it? do you apply it when you are driving and stop for a moment? Or do you need someone to do it for you? some wear makeup to cover blemishes or to simply feel good about themselves. My mother was such a glam queen when I was younger as this was very influential to me. And I learned how to apply it by watching her...although I tried the liquid eyeliner she always used and yes it turned out to be a gloppy mess every time...so I use pencil. But you should have your sister give you some tips. Or pick up a magazine like Glamour. They always have tips on how to apply makeup and how to choose the right kind. ANd less is always better when applying makeup. Obviously, you are a natural person if you do not choose to wear it all the time. So go with natural toned makeup like earth tones, browns and use a little bronzer on your cheeks of try covergirls blusher (it has a hint of color and usually you cannot go overboard with it.) There are many companies now that offer better dry makeup that is healthy for your skin....unlike gloppy floundations...try bare minerals or others like it. And I do know when you order them they usually come with an informational cd showing you how to apply it. I love to wear makeup that looks natural and I am so glad the 1980's pink and blues are not the usual. Just find your color....go to a cosmetics counter and ask someone to help you find your colors....even if you do not buy their products as they are expensive, but sometimes they offer free makeup consultation and a makeover. Good luck and enjoy being a woman.

I basically don't let other people play with my face, even professionals. I love doing my own makeup and I insist doing it on my own and so far I am happy with it. I guess I just don't like to be messed up by others! *laughs*

I like your concept of it. My sister messed me up once with this deep red lipstick my face was laughable....! It's better you mess it up yourself than for someone else too.

I do my own make up. I think I made a mess of it when I was a teenager, however I am use to putting make up on now. When putting foundation on I use one of the make up sponges that helps it spread evenly. I like to use the pencil eye liner as that is easier to apply then the liquid eye liner. I do like it though having my make up professionally done as they are good with making my eyes stand out.

I took a class on how to do makeup when I was 14, I also did some modeling when I was younger so I learned all about makeup. If you feel you are looking clown like when you do make up, may I suggest that you only use natural colors. Colors that match your own skin tone. If you wear lipstick only wear one that matches the color of your own lips or stick to a clear lip gloss. Avoid using blush. If you wear foundation make sure it is extremely close to your own skin tone, and make sure you blend it all in evently. Most people can not go wrong with mascara, if you wear nothing else, wearing mascara will benifit you looks. Keep eyeshodows in natural tones. If you are really uncomfortable applying make up search around for a class to help you do it properly. A lot of park districts offer such classes.

Well you do have good points. But i don't wear makeup that much and my bf doesn't really like it so he will obviously object to me wanting to take a class in that field. He'll want to know what has gotten into me. But i do like to wear lip gloss and makeup occasionally.

I don't wear makeup, because I don't believe in it. I like my face the way it is, and I don't feel that I need to change it.

I do my own. If you do it enough you get used to the process and it will get easier. Have someone work with you and help apply then practice a few times....soon you will be doing your own!

Hi, Normally, I do not apply makeup. But, on occations, I do it. I do myself and do not depend on others. I apply only moisturizer cream, mascara and light lipstick. That's it. Nothing more of colors on my face. I don't like heavy make up. I look my best with minimal makeup. regards

I tend to like the natural look better too. A little makeup here and there you know nothing much. My best friend on the other hand likes a lot of color. heavy makeup all the way.

I love putting on makeup. I do my own make up. Sometimes I will do my sisters make up for her. I also do my mom's make up for her sometimes, too. I don't think I'm really that good at it, but I'm ok. I just hate when my mascara or eyeliner gets smeared all over my face. It doesn't happen much now, but I remember once when I first started wearing a little make up it did. I was in fifth grade and I had put on just mascara. It was time to go to recess or lunch or something and my teacher asked me to stay behind. He then told me that it had smeared. It was embarrassing.

Oh yes what a embarrassing moment in deed. But i would have laughed it off then go feel totally embarrassed in a corner afterwards. But you sound like you are doing just fine in the makeup department.

I don't wear make up. I don't like it. But if my bf asked me to apply it on our date, i would definitely ask for my sister to put make up for me^^ I just put eye liner, blusher and lip gloss/lip balm. Eye-liner and blusher, i ask my sister to put it on me. Lip gloss/lip balm, i do it by myself. But i don't like make up. And my bf doesn't mind a bit if i don't put make up on my face cause as he said to me before, he fall for me when i don't put any single make up on my face. He fall for my natural beauty. So yeah, I'm glad the he likes both:) But I feel more comfortable when i don't wear make up:)

OMG! we are so similar, i don't really like makeup either. I love to wear my lip gloss/lip balm and that's about it. I feel uncomfortable wearing makeup, i don't feel like me. My bf loves my natural beauty he would not change me for the world. We are so common! I love myself just the way i am.

I wear lip balm every day. I work in an air conditioned building so my lips get dry. But even when I'm out i love wearing it. I just like how it make my lips feel and look. they really stand out. I like to wear the cherry flavor, anyone that's pink or red i wear. those are my favorite colors. What type of lip gloss do you like?

I wear makeup only on special occasions now. I used to wear it every day in college, but only a small amout of eye amkeup; nothing else. I don't need help putting it on. I never have. It's just like coloring. You just stay in the lines. I've never put it on while driving. That's just not safe.

ask her to show you how she does it. sometimes its easier than ou think. once you get some techinques down, its much much easier. if she likes makeup alot, she'll enjoy showing you. or ask her to do your makeup and just watch what she does.
