Is there a grocery store in your area that will deliver your groceries? How much does it cost? Does it cost extra now that groceries have gone up? Giant around here has a service called Peapod. It costs $6.95 if you order $100 or more, plus they charge about an extra $1 as a gas charge. The only thing is that they don't have everything. So,I still need to walk to the bus stop and spend the day going to another store.

Safeway.com - Safeway home delivery service.
It is good for people that can't get out.I do not have a car and Iam partially handicaped. Therefore it is hard for me to bring heavy or a lot of items on the bus using my cart. So,Iam grateful that they have it here.In the next town not only does Giant have it,but Safeway does too.

there's no such thing in our area and if it does i would really appreciate it.. i can just spend the whole weekend at home with my baby and wait for the groceries to arrive. i would really benefit with this idea! hope to have this in our area!

Peapod - A grocery delivery service by Giant Food.
With Peapod, you pick which day and time span you would like to have it delivered. They let me know that they do not deliver in my neighborhood on Tuesday's and Saturdays. They even have a time span that is apparently too popular,so they will give you a dollar discount if you choose that time.

I wish. We cannot even get pizza delivery where we live. We live 15 miles from the gorcery store and the restaurants. We live right off of the expressway though. they could get here in 10-15 minutes. I would even pay extra for the delivery. I always have to travel for everything we need also as far as food. I do order clothing and some other things online sometimes though.

No we do not have any where around here that will deliver your groceries.I know a long time ago they did that here, but not anymore..In fact we are all going "green" here and we are having to buy our own bags, take them to the store and use our own bags to bag our groceries...That is something new..I hear Walmart is going to start doing the same thing ,but they have not inforced it yet...

If there was i'd be set, saving on gas and being able to go out more like I used to. I haven't heard of this before but will check it out and see if there is anything like that where I live.
