Is there any experience you have that the Lord opens the door of opportunity and you turned it down? of course you realize it later that it is a rare opportunity that may never come back? I had once. I regret why I did not think it first before I say no. I;m not sure if that opportunity comes again. Did you have the same experience?

Trails come to make us stronger. We learn from our experience and I believe if it didn't happen-it wasn't meant to be or it wasn't your time. If its meant to be it will be. Do you believe in the law of attraction?

Well, I believe in Gd's timing. If it is not yet my time to have that, it will not be mine. Time will come for me. Jusst trust the Lord's leadings.

I think there are opportunities all the time. We have to make our choices, make our decisions...not much of a point in looking back in regret. Some things do only present themselves once...you jump on it or you don't. My husband was just offered his "dream" job and it is very much (very very much) his "calling" to do this. He accepted the position, worked around his current job to go part time...but we have come to the conclusion that his "dream job", well...we can't survive on the pay and there are no insurance benefits. We have three special needs children and while I feel that it is definitely an opportunity gone, I don't think that we dismissed it lightly...in fact, he was willing to work crazy hours to do it because he was over the moon to get to work with Christians and helping others...but between the salary (and we are very simple people, very frugal, not materialistic...and I just wouldn't have been able to make it work), the lack of insurance (our boys all have epilepsy, a bleeding disorder, one of them is visually impaired, one has cerebral palsy...we can NOT go without insurance) and the distance of the commute (twice the travel of his current job)...it just would not work. But, in the midst of our discussing how this job isn't going to be a good fit, another presented itself, with more money (more than we need), benefits (good ones) and so even if we have to pay substantially for the insurance, his income will allow for making that premium payment. So, I think if one door is closed, another is opened, but we are often times not open to seeing the other opportunities because we are too busy kicking ourselves for "missing out" on one that might not have been the right opportunity in the first place. Keep your eyes directed upward and your heart open...

I like the way you present your views. That is right!!! I do believe on that closing doors and another windows will be open. Actually, I'm still waiting for that window that will be opened for me these days. Thanks for the good answer.
