Do you know how easy?

I would love to know how to make ice cream at home..can you guys teach me?:)

I have a very large ice cream maker and it requires you to fill it up at least half way, so that's a lot of ingredients that I have to get. It also requires a lot of ice, too. And, the ice cream often comes out very hard, but that's probably because I use skim milk and lower fat ingredients. I still have the ice cream maker, but I never use it. I may use it sometime in the future. I especially like to make egg nog ice cream. That usually comes out pretty creamy because of the fat in the egg nog.

It was a tradition in my family to make homemade ice cream every Christmas Eve for years. I love homemade ice cream, it's so much better than any store bought. We always made it at my mom's using an electric ice cream maker. My mom decided about 5 years ago to stop the tradition because of the number of people we have there on Christmas Eve and the noise level. Too bad, it was the only time we ever made it!

Well... I tried once but I don't know if it count. I've done a water taste ice-creams ^^. Then I've just put on them some lemon juice :P.

i hope you can share your procedure on how to prepare it at home. my family and i have always been ice cream lovers and would gain much from learning to do it at home.
