I was wondering how all those discussions get popular. I haven't got any of my discussions that far. Do you guys respond to all those discussions that have a higher number of posts. Earlier i used to avoid those discussions that had a post more than 20 or so. But now i understood that i should respond to all those discussions in my interst so that i can earn something quicker.

I don't ever filter my responses on the the number of posts that particular discussion has. If the discussion is in my interest, I would like to respond to that discussion irrespective of the number of posts that discussion already has. But i sometimes wonder, how would people manage to respond back to the posts or comment upon the responses where the discussion has crossed 50 posts. I mean, how would they keep in touch with the people sharing their views on the same thing again and again. Anyway, i think thsi discussion of yours will easily cross the 50 mark and lets see if you are regular in commenting back.. Responding to the discussion which is in my interest is not giving me any harm.. infact its just my 2 cents worth..LOL

hey, you just made me respond back. If i can get replies like this i can respond back even if this post reach 100 response. * I am usually eager to see my responses geting commented. Even if the author is making same comment for all the response, i feel happy that someone managed to read my post.

We can respond to more discussions and feel better if the topics are of interest to us.

Yes, I certainly do. I do not use the current number of posts as the yardstick to determine if I should also provide a response. Usually I will read the topic of the discussion and see if it interests me and whether I have something to contribute. If I do, then I will make the post, otherwise I will just skip it and move on to another discussion.

I respond to anything in discussions that interest me whether they have five, ten or onehundred responses,it just depends on what I am interested in at the time. so I think it all evens out in due course of time.

I balance the discussions I respond to. I visit discussions from my friends, new discussions or ones with no responses, and hot topics. That way, I can cover a better amount of thoughts and attract different people's attention. I believe that if I continue to do that, in due time, more people would get to know me, making way for them to read and respond to my own. I don't have those results yet, so I'm going to continue doing this. Hehe. Then again, something that interests me is still the best discussion to respond to.

For me making a respo't nse doesn't depend on how popular or how many responded the discussion has but on how the topic affect me or how I got motivated to read it. sometimes I even reponse to those who have hundreds of response not because its popular but how it makes my mind motivated. If I can't find any discussion the doesn't interest me I don't bother to read it.

I don't care how much they respond to the discussion, If I had something to add I'll say my opinion and my point of view, and sometime add comment to other users. At the contrary when I see high responses in one discussion it attract me toward it to see what is happening here.

Whenever I respond to any discussions, I never bother about whether those discussions have higher number of posts or lesser responses or even zero response, as long as I am interested in them. Just like this discussion, I am in the fourth page. Of course it is easy for us to check our response if it is on the first response page. Most of the time, I prefer not to take the trouble to check my response if I were to respond a discussion that already has a higher number of posts.

Thanks for that. By seeing the number of responses i am getting for this discussion, i have also started responding to those discussions which is having a higher number of posts. Now i understand that our responses in mylot will get read by atleast one person, the author.

I generally avoid discussion with many post, this is the reason why I don't go to today's top discussions. But if the topic really interest me I wouldn't mind reading all of them. If the discussion is sort of asking for an opinion then I would read some and I will respond to it.

I like it when my own discussions get more than 50 responses so I think it is only right for me to respond to discussions with more than 50 responses. I would rather my response appears on page one than on page 4 or 5 but if I have something to say about the subject, my response still has value. This discussion already has more than thirty responses and I would still reply if it had more than fifty.

Hie Mtsandeep, I don't mind responding to those topics popular or not, already have marked best response as long it is interesting and relevant to me. Sometimes I do get inspiration from doing that - reading other people's view and learn something out of it too. The main thing is keep contributing, keep it interesting , learn what others could offer and have fun :) Cheers,

Hi mtsandeep! I don't usually answer discussions with a lot of responses already unless the topic is really a discussion and the one who started it is still making comments. Cheers!

I respond to discussions because I like the topic, or I feel I can give a quality answer. I never really even look at how many responses it has already have. If I want to respond to something I do.

I don't pay much attention to how many responses a discussion has got, so I probably respond to discussions with 50 or more responses. I think that they become so popular, because they are easy to answer and everyone has something to say on the matter.

those discussions become popular because of people like you, who respond with good responses.. thanks for the response.

I think your absolutely right, responding to a very popular post, can give you a chance to be popular as well, because postese from that discussions can see you and they might visits you and will responds in your own discussions..right?
