What do you think about soy milk?

I think soy milk is a very healthy drink and it's quite common here. We even have a soy milk machine which we can make it at home easily. Since my husband is afraid of gaining more weights, so he doesn't drink milk in usual. But he accepts to drink soy milk as he thinks he won't be fat to drink it.

I do not like soymilk. I think it tastes terrible compared to regular milk. The only way i can stand it is if it is in another beverage. Like having soymilk in your Starbucks beverge is pretty innocuous. I think using it in cooking might be a good idea though.

Soymilk is very healthy to drink and definately loer in fat than cows milk. I cannot drink cows milk so soy milk or rice milk is my thing. The price is so much more economical than cows milk.

I drink some soy milk almost every day and I hope it is not gene manipulated. .... It is supposed to maintain female hormones even after menopause, so it may keep us feel better. I have no idea what effect it has on men.... As soy has been used for thousands of years, it canĀ“t be too harmful .... If we want to lose weight, sugar is among our worst enemies, especially the white sugar.

I like soymilk and drink it whenever I can afford to. It's a bit expensive here. I just bought a half gallon last Monday and have been drinking it since then. But, it's almost gone and I might have to go back to regular milk because it's about half the price. I drink the unsweetened kind because it's the lowest in calories and sodium. But, I don't mind the plain and vanilla, either. Vanilla tastes good on unsweetened cereal. Soymilk has fat in it, too, but probably not saturated fat.

I drink soy milk and I am very skinny. Soy milk is not making you to gain fat at all. I love soy milk. I buy vanilla soy milk for so many years. I don't add it to my coffee, because coffee doesn't taste good with soy milk. I use rice milk with my coffee....

Soy milk does take some getting used to. Especially if you were raised on cows milk. When I do drink it I prefer the Vanilla Soy. It most reminds me of cows milk. Easier to take that way. My daughter likes the chocolate flavored.

I agree with you, youless. The thing is, with much adulteration affecting the quality of milk nowadays, many people are becoming allergetic to milk. In fact, I'm also one of them. Soy milk provides a healthy and safe drinking option to them. I had consumed soy milk for a few years but then it was taken out of market, perhaps because it didn't gain much popularity. You say that you have a soy milk maker at home? But perhaps it is available in your country. If we also had something like that, it would have been much easier for us to procure soy milk.

ha ha ha ha ha... as long as you drink in moderation, it should be okay to stick with milk. I love soy milk as much as regular milk. In fact, I love the ones that I make my own. Especially when black beans are used instead of the regular yellow soy beans. Have you ever tried black bean milk before? It is really really good. A nutty flavor that is not too overpowering. And just as nutritious as the regular soy milk.

I love soy milk especially if you mix it with honey. It's true that soy milk has less fat content than animal milk but I'm not sure if he wouldn't gain more wight from it. Maybe you will but it's not fat it would be protein and muscle mass.

I have also heard about the enormous number of benefits from the consumption of Soy milk.We are not used to this though this protein enrichment is highly recommended. We try and get our protein from other sources.I have never heard of this machine being used at home and it would be a boon for us. I would at least try to make some delicacy adding almonds etc.., to it so thta this disguised milk would provide us with extra nourishment.

I love soy milk. You're right that it's a really healthy drink and I think it tastes a lot better than milk! I used to drink it everyday but now we don't buy it often. Sometimes when my mom buy it, I would drink for the whole weekend.

Since our cities are not far away, so I think our some of our habits are the same. And therefore perhaps this is why foreigners are not very interested in soy milk.

i luv soy milk... it is very tasty and refreshing, isnt it ? we drink soy milk a lot in this country... some of the soft drink / packed drink manufacturers have soy milk in their line of products.. and some of them are very creative.. they have soymilk with corn juice, soymilk with rose flavor, soymilk with banana, soymilk with redbean.... i think it is a good way to get more people to drink soymilk.. some manufacturers even have soymilk with extra Omega-3... (i think you have a good idea now on how much we love soymilk in this country.. )

It taste really good. Much better than regular milk. I know that if you don't really like milk you would like soy instead. I guess you can say that it has flavor and that is a big difference between it and milk. Have a nice one.
