When it is gloomy out, does it make you sleepy?

I think that when it is gloomy outside, sleeping is very inviting. I guess it is because the weather is conducive for a long nap. There are times when I also feel sleepy when it is a little sunny and warm. But not really as much as when it is gloomy.

The movie idea sounds divine!
I love watching movies while it is raining.
Not really anything that I can do on the
computer, cause it has to be unplugged
so it doesn't get hit by lightening.
Movies are the perfect way to spend
a rainy afternoon. And if one
dozes off in bed while watching, that's not
such a bad thing!
P.S. Congrats on your baby.

I always feel glummy nd depressed on cloudy stormy days even though I love when it rains. I love the sound of it on the tin roof.

Yes. We got some rain today and it made me very sleepy. We work nights as it is, so I was very tired to begin with. I feel different alot of times when it is sunny out also. I may be tired but it gives me an extra boost of energy to go out and enjoy it a little bit. My husband and I work seven days a week and it wears us out also. We stay tired most of the time.

Yep I have to agree, the dark skies and gloom can make most folks just want to climb back into bed. We had a long bought of that weather, but now the sun is finaly shining again. Yippy, for me it really effects my mood and energy level. Hope you get some sun soon, enjoy your movie.

Yes, I tend to sleep more in gloomy weather. Some days, winter especially, I don't get much more accomplished than getting up and making sure I've taken my meds and had something to eat. Unless you count sitting on the computer for hours...

Wish I could go home and join my wife in a little nap. I have to resort to lots of caffeine.

I'm very sensitive for any weather changes so if it's starting to be gloomy I can almost sleep while I stand, hehe. It's still better than actually drop off to sleep while standing, right?
