I love to sing. Unfortunately I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, lol. It doesn't stop me from singing though. I sing all the time. When I'm in the car with my husband and I'm singing along with a tune on the radio, my husband always turns the volume on the radio up and tries to drown me out.

well I don’t have a good voice but I know that I can carry a tune well. Clarity and sweetness of voice does not always gel with the ability to follow a tune correctly. I wish I had a better voice coz I love singing. I am an ardent fan of music and one of my childhood passions was to memorize songs by heart. That habit has stayed with me and whenever I hear a song that I like, I make it a point to memorize it so that I can sing it aloud to myself. Many times I have sung songs to my family…sometimes they demand it at bedtime, its suppose to soothe their nerves and puts them to sleep. (though don’t know if that’s good, I mean are they pulling my leg
)
but my voice is definitely not radio grade.

I am not sure. But my mom would always say that I can say but I just needed some training. When I feel like it, I record myself singing then listen to myself. Sometimes I feel like I am in tune but sometimes I think I am not. When I listen to myself sing I usually have goosebumps not because I am good but because I find it weird listening to myself sing, haha.. Maybe I really need some training.

I doubt I would ever sell a record, but I can sing. I'm a midrange voice and sing well when I sing along with the likes of Carole King and the Pretenders. They have similar ranges to me.

I can sing okay. I used to sing better when I sang regularly. I sing better if I make up my own songs and tunes, not so well singing with others.
I actually have some badly recorded music on myspace so I guess its not that bad!

I can sing, and so can my 3 sisters. One thing I am very glad we got from our Dad. Have been in church choir before and my voice ranges from soprano to contralto. I have rarely sung on voice on Second Life and all have said how good my voice is. My bf from the Uk is kinda biased, but he loves my voice. Been told I sound younger than I am. I love singing and I sometimes make up music as I go while doing housework. One thing I recommend is if you want to keep a good voice, take care of yourself, no smoking. Its bad enough I have allergies that sometimes prevent me from singing at all.
I do have sensitive ears, so someone singing off tune actually hurts. But hey, everyone has the right to sing, to espress and enjoy singing. Just don't scream it into my ear.
Once worked with a lady who could sing Opera but had the very bad taste of singing Opera in in enclosed space, her high notes hurt so much I had to take some headache medicine afterwards.

Oh man, I know. My sister can sing like nobody's business, but she trained in opera and never stopped practicing growing up. My ears would ring! Eventually she joined a Christian girl group and they traveled around singing in churches. I was just so glad she wasn't singing in my vicinity. I promise you, that girl never stopped singing!

I am a good singer and can carry a tune. I am a high soprano. I also think I am a coloratura, but I need a professional voice teacher or classical teacher to affirm that. I can reach up to the C after high C, and a little bit farther, possibly the E or F but that is because I have been practicing a lot. However I also need to get an electronic pitch tuner to see if I am getting on the right note. I find it very easy to transcribe in my head and if you want to sing classical, that is not the way to go.

When I was in grade school I used to sing pretty well, and even got picked for the choir. I quit singing in high school, except for when I'm home alone and no one can hear me except the dog. I can carry a tune, but for some reason I've got a mental block against singing in public.

I used to sing in public before I lost my air to asthma. I can carry a tune, I can fly with it and make people dream and forget their troubles. I had not sung in a very long while. If I get my voice back you would hear me in Youtube.

Sadly I can't. I just don't have it in me. Unless I slightly whisper then I can keep a somewhat steady tune. I'm not really sure what my voice wants to do, lol. It can be way off key in some areas, mostly the high ones. When the song I'm listening to is sung in a lower note, then I find it easier to sing along with.

To be frank, my voice is just so so. I still remember the situation when i went to KTV for the first time.My singing was off key for many times and it was really embarressed me. After then, i practiced often in the dorm myself and went to KTV with friends . My friends gave me a lot encouragement. Now i can say i have no off key voice .

I think I can. People tell me that I can sing pretty good. I have tried to sing a few songs at a local night club. They have karaoke there sometimes. There is no way I would try to sing a whole song without being shown the words. I make my own up for them sometimes and people laugh at me LOL.

To be quite honest I really don't know what sort of voice I have good, bad or like a screeching cat. I have never been told I am bad and sing around the house but I have been told that I am very good if I sing out loud rather than low by a friend once. Elliew :D

The question here is: Can you carry a tune? Yes, I can. Just give me sheet music and I'll carry it. There! I can carry a tune. :-)
