Movie: The Black Dahlia

I just watched this movie and found it amazing. And it even amazed me even more when I found out that it was based on a true story. Have you seen this movie? If not I would recommend it. It's a good murder mystery to watch.

I haven't seen The Black Dahlia, but this movie does have some good reviews, it seems to be a good movie to watch. Thanks for this discussion I wouldn't have known about The Black Dahlia, I will surely try and watch The Black Dahlia ...

I have seen this movie and it is quite good. I'm into true crime stories. I like stuff like this. There have actually been a few movies made about this particular crime. The ones I have seen have all been pretty good. Because the case remains unsolved it attracts a lot of attention with people speculating on who was responsible.

To say it was based on a true story is a stretch. Yes there was a real crime as such, but the characters and the over-the-top silly twist and plot were all fiction. I thought the movie would be more about the crime, but instead it was a very boring fictional drama in a world where the crime happened to take place. It looked good though, visually.
