why people like sleeping when raining.

i don't know why, but seem so many people will say that. so many time i heard some one say "wow it is raining it is good to sleep now". It is because it raining so we cannot do outdoor activity for that better stay at home and sleep.
Or maybe people like to sleep while raining cause at that moment we feel cool and it is nice to sleep. No matter what the time is people will stay back and take a change to sleep while raining. It is like a common thing to us in now day.
But this thing still depend on individual either they like to sleep when the day is raining or not, for me some time it was the best time to sleep when raining. You cannot hear other noisy other then the sound of the rain. Did you too like to sleep when raining or you hate it so much ;)

i like sleeping when it is raining because it is much cooler and it makes me fall asleep when listening to the sound of rain falling in our rooftop..it is a music in my ears and it really makes me fall asleep..^_^

It is related to atmospheric pressure. When raining, atmospheric pressure is very low and it is making us sleepy and tired.
Also, sound of raining is very calming and relaxing.
Relaxing sound makes us sleepy.
Third factor is lock of light. Darkness can make us sleepy.

I like sleeping when it rain, just the sound of the rain falling, puts me to sleep. It's relaxing and very cool. I enjoy watching the rain. I hate to drive when it rains, rather be inside.

well rainy days are really good to sleep in. i'll definitely love to sleep on a rainy day. guess it could be that our body temperature drops when we sleep. rainy days are cool and makes me lethargic. the constant sound of rain also lulls me to sleep. cheers.

wow that's so nice over at your side. i wish it's raining now at my side. it feels so good to be warm and cozy in bed. the sun is shining as i'm typing this. i've got to switch on the fan so that i don't sweat too much. cheers :D

I have no idea, but you don't like it? I like it when it storms really hard and I can hear it all the lightening and thunder. I think it just has something to do with the pressure or something. I don't know maybe it is the sounds it makes or you don't really have anything else to do.

You know I have never heard this, but I can see where that would make sense. We rarely have alot to do when it is pooring rain what better time. But don't just rely on it raining to catch up with God because only he knows it barely rains in the summer around here.

Yeah,when oustside rains,I didn't want to do anything just surfing the Internet or sleeping.It's comfortable,just as there's no time,you need not hurry to do anything.
Besides,sometimes,I like walking in the rain.

i also feel like going to sleep when its raining. i agree when you said that because its cool, people feel like sleeping. it just feel so nice to sleep with the cold weather, you can snuggle up in bed and curl under your blanket. unlike when its hot, you sweat a lot and its very uncomfortable to lie down in bed and sleep. and yeah, because its raining, there's less people outside, less noise and you can hear only the gentle sound of raindrops which sounds almost like a lullaby that can put you into sleep. ^__^
for me, when its raining, i prefer to stay at home. i would either sleep or watch tv or a movie on dvd, or just work in the computer.

I also dont know why pplz sleepinh while its raining. I like rain soo much as i remember i never slept while raining. I like to play in rain to walk around and to have some bar-b-q type of food. Here i want to share somthing also

I like to sleep when it's raining. I think it's because it is gray outside and so in the house as well. There is also the steady beat of the rain on the roof that is like a lullaby to put you to sleep and keep you sleeping for a while even if it changes. Sometimes even if it thunders, it is easy to sleep when it rains.

I sleep better when it rains. The rhythm of the rain helps to soothe me and I try and sleep when it is raining, no matter the time of day. I'm lucky enough that my partner is home most of the time as he is a distance education student, so jumping into bed when it rains is easy for me.
The harder it rains, the better I sleep! Not sure why, but it is true!

I like being lazy in the rain because it's so quiet. All you really hear outside is the rain falling. It's dark, as if it's evening, which is a sleepy time of day. The sun gives you energy, so when it's not out people tend to remain laid back. And, people are always looking for an excuse to get more sleep :) It's also romantic, and intimacy takes place in the bed.

I love the rain and everytime it rains I always say that it is a perfect day for staying in, watching a movie and sleeping. I think it is a combination of the dreary and gloomy day that makes people feel calm, relaxed and even lazy in a sense and the sound is soothing.

hmmm, because it's cold and cozy... i just love it when it rains.. plus the pouring sound of water is really calming... just like when you hear the ocean or river.. it's very natural and my body agrees with it... right now, we have a signal #2 storm here... and i slept soundly through it.. i just hope no one suffers when it rains...

I don't like to sleep when it's raining, but I love it if it's raining when I'm suppose to be sleeping. Just because it rains doesn't mean that I should stop everything just to sleep, but if it starts raining right before time for me to go to bed, that is wonderful! The sound of the rain is so lulling and the pattern behind it helps to relax you and helps you to sleep so much better, in my opinion. I can't just go to sleep by the sound alone. I hate it when it rains during the day because then I have absolutely no motivation to do anything. The grey and gloominess is too much. But if it occurs at night when I'm going to bed anyway, it's perfect!

It's the calming, white noise. Even if it's windy and raining, there is something about being in my bed, snug as a bug in a rug.
I've been camping, in a tent, and the rain around the tent is rather calming. Of course, with a tent, high wind is another story!!

I like to sleep when it is raining because the sound of rain on the roof is soothing and relaxing.
My grown daughter has a hard tine sleeping when it is raining, though. Our home was flooded twice when she was a child, and we lost all our personal possessions each time.

The sound of raining is so lovely. If it cold then it make me so happy and start to write songs that almost sentimental.
The rain means lots of joys and makes feel that as if we were poet.
