MyLot Meeting - Excellent Day! Have You Met Any Online Friends In Real Life?

Oh Ellie, I'm so happy that you and p1kefish and Mrs p1kefish got to meet!!! I'm jealous too, but I'm mostly happy. I know that he was very excited about the meeting and he's said only the best things about you and what fun you all had. Oh how I wish I could have been there! I've never met an online friend in person, but I'm going to, oh yes I am! I'm hoping to meet myklj at some point, as he lives very close to me, and I'm hoping to be able to go see Angel sometime in the fall - she lives in my daddy's home state, about 8 hours away or so by car, not so far I think. And I get to see p1kefish, at least, on Skype, and that's almost as good as being there - it's so much like we're both in the same room together, it's so much fun.

I have met so many persons in real life after meeting on net . Some are my good friend now and well connected with me too . But in case of mylot , I haven't got chance to do it so . I am sharing this sites with very few people from my city and they are not interested to reply to my PM . So its not possible here .. I felt good after gone through your subject as I have got there are persons who are interested for doing other things with discussions and earning here ... Thanks !!!

Yayyyyy!!! I'm glad you had an enjoyable day with P1kefish and his wife. You certainly deserved it. How nice that they made the day out to meet you. I have met up with four online friends now, including you. The first one was similar to yours... I met a friend from Huddersfield, but I met her in Leeds, for lunch. She brought her sister along with her and we spent four hours in the pub opposite the station, getting to know each other better. I've visited her four times since. Luckily, all my meetings with online friends have been great so far... I even flew to Salem, Oregon and stayed four weeks there, to meet an online friend, whom I met in Pogo. I had a great time there. When I met you last week, I felt really at home... you were a wonderful hostess and a true friend. Thank you for everything you did for me... you were far and above what I expected, my dear friend. Things on the home front are good now. He's safe and sound, back home and ready to go back to work next week, he says. You know, once, an American Friend called me a worry wart... he was right, I guess. I don't worry so much about myself, but if any of my friends hit a bad patch, then I get concerned... upset even. You were there for me, and I appreciate that, a lot. Liz felt very comfortable with you and I feel slightly guilty that we didn't talk about myLot more than we did. Perhaps next time. I was so pleased to be there when you got the news about your Dad. Isn't it great to make your virtual friends real ones? You alreday know so much about the person before you get a chance to meet him.

Ellie you are one lucky guy! How I wish I could meet you as well! It must have felt wonderful, pls share more. As for me, I ever have met anyone from online. Even though I have many good friends on internet I have never met them personally. I do not want it that way though. Its only that circumstance didn't turn that way. I would love to meet the people I talk so often. BTW, the picture exudes the happiness you three were having. And ofcourse kudos to the understanding lady.

I would really like to make a special connection with someone then get the opportunity to meet. I think I would be a bit nervous thought...were you nervous?

Hello Ellie, how are you doing? What a wonderful topic, thanks for posting! Yes, I have met one of my pen pals before. I'm planning (I hope!) to meet one of my other pen pals this summer. No, I like to know the people face to face especially if they are nice and have communicated me for years and years. The one pen pal I met I have known since 1998, the other one I have known since 1999. So I hope I get to meet her. I think there is a restriction to have with online pen pals some people are psycho and need to be put in their place. So I am very cautious when meeting someone for the first time. So if I know as pen pal for a long time I am more likely to believe the person is normal. Have a wonderful day! Pablo

I have read a few of pike's discussions as well as his responses. He must be a real gentleman if he drove up special just to see you. Especially since gas prices are so high. I am also glad that you had a great time, as I know how nervous all of you must of felt to meet each other. I have met two people online, and I must admit one of them I was nervous meeting. He ended up being a nice enough person, but our relationship failed. The second person I met online was through a mutual friend. The mutual friend surprisingly enough went back on what he said about this person, and well I didn't listen. I am glad I didn't, because he is now my fiance! I love you baby (not you Ellie, although I am sure you are a nice person).

no, I was not able to meet my online friend in mylot. O wish I could see even one of them in person. Well, I am in the Philippines and I know there are also people here from my country but not sure if there is one from the place where I am living now. I wish I could meet even one.

Wow, that sounded really fun. I've only met up once with a friend that I've had through mySpace. He was nice online and we text each other once in a while but when we met up he was coming on to me. I was really shocked. He was such a nice guy when we text and message each other. No signs of being a perv or anything. After that meet up he's always texting me asking to meet again but I always have some excuse that I can't cos I'm doing something or I'm out of town. He even wants to come at my house. I didn't give him my address though. After a couple of months, I found out trough friendster that he already has a girlfriend then suddenly he was texting me again. I just ignored him. Now, the only time I meet up with someone that I met on the internet is if i bought something from the person. But I'm still open to meet with someone that I befriended online. Not bitter or totally traumatized or anything.

Hi Ellie as you know I have met Darkwing and she is as lovely as she appears online and fun to be with-we also went for dinner at a pub and had a drink-a good time was had by us both-bless her she came all the way from where she lives to see ME!! Also I am hoping to come and see you by the end of the year-there are other people on mylot that I'd love to meet but unfortunatley they live abroad and I could never travel that far especially down under (australia)-so really I think if people live in our own countrys it would be a grat idea to meet up with each other as it then gives us a chance to see what everyone is like and have fun together, Oh by the way I deleted you last discussion by mistake there are two things I really would find it hard to leive without that is my washing machine and fridge-hugs and blessings littleowl

That's awesome. I haven't done this yet, on Mylot or anywhere else. But I would like too. I'm glad you had a nice warm experience because that gives others hope. I would love to meet up with someone so we could just chat. I'm just worried about attracting creepy untrustworthy individuals, lol.
