At first I hesitated from starting a discussion about this because I thought it might seem like I am bragging. But as I have thought about it, I have to thank all of my friends.
I want to thank you all for the star rating that I have today. It's 100/100. I thought this is an impossible rating to have. And yet, I got it!
This maybe just a popularity rating as others have said. Still, I am honored to have this rating. Thank you all for giving it to me.
After this discussion, my rating may decrease when others may think it is necessary to rate me negatively. So I want to take this opportunity while it lasts to express my deepest gratitude to all mylotters who have made this possible.

Congrats! You have worked your way through the good the bad and the ugly. You deserve this! Hopefully nobody will rate you negatively. I surely won't! I have never rated anyone that way. If you disagree, that gets a positive because that is what we are here for. Now if it is just a strange answer or makes me feel funny, I just won't rate.
Anyway, Congrats and keep up the good work!!!

I guess it also has something to do with the best responses that I have received. I think it increases the star rating. One best response means one increase in the rating percentage. But I don't know how many "+" ratings before I can have an increasse of point in the rating percentage. I guess it has to be a lot of "+"s before there can be an increase. I am also guessing it should be from a lot of people and not from a single member.

wow! i was about to make a similar discussion because i wanted to take the opportunity to thank people who marked my responses in their discussions as the best.
i was doubting how i would express my gratitude but i couldn't start doing anything. and you were one of them. so thank you too for marking my response as your best in that discussion.
i don't understand the rating but congratulations for making it.^_^

You have a star already. You get a star after you reach your 100th post. and it is showing your rating is 4, with a percentage rate of 36/100. It is the reflection of how others have rated you. Try joining more discussions and responding more often with quality posts. For instance, I am always rating my respondents positively so you may join my discussions. If you really want to increase your star rating, it is adviseable that you have more friends who are active rater. Good luck here on mylot!
