What About Idiotic neighbors

Okay here is the scammy. Some one in our neighborhood is calling CPS on us. Second time about a week ago. And we just recieved our second letter from CPS saying they have researched the allegations and have found them to be unsubstanciated. This has been very upsetting to us. We called a lawyer and were told that after the sixth or seventh time we could say it is harrassment. Can you believe it? We are doing nothing to warrant these calls. So, until such a time we have to just put up with it. We have no right to find out who is calling CPS. If we could find out who is doing this horrible thing to us we could discuss it with them and come to some conclusion. As it is we just wait for the next ball to drop. I am ranting over this. Would like to hear some opinions, others stories of neighbors from hell.

thats to bad ya cant find out but I would watch the neighborhood and pick who ya think it is.
We had a inspector come out to look at shed we were building for at teh size we bouilt we didnt need a permit. and I still dont know why it was any problem for the neighbor and I know who it was . It isnt even close to her side of the wall and we had right footage away fro the wall it is by.
all the insp4ector did was look over the one wall and said it looked ok and took down the measurements I gave him.

You think the neighbors were worried about the price in property inprovement and it making their taxes go up? Some people are pretty anal about those things. A change in one neighbors property can change everything.

I have no idea what they thought about it but it should have worried them ours went up but dont think theirs did and every improvement done to your place helps in price if ya ever want to sell.
But she also wanted me to cut down my cedar tree that has bee here since 1964 whe house was built No way am I cutting it down!

We live in a apartment that is subsidized by the government.My daughter has a Section 8. It is a pathetic place to live. But rentals are very high here.

I am sorry this is happening to you, it is a really malicious and nasty thing to have keep happening and people who are doing this continually should not be protected.
I have not had cps or anything called on me, but in UK we get an income supplement called family tax and someone phoned them on us and said that we were claiming when we should not be. As a result a full investigation was launched on us, of course we had done nothing wrong and so nothing was found. At the time though it was very stressful, I had an idea of who had done it and so I when I phoned the family tax place I asked specific questions and the girl I spoke too accidentally let something slip without realising it. I then knew who it was.

I have no way of doing that because I don't associate with many of the tenants around here. The one I do is a good friend. So, i just don't know.

To be honest with you as I have found out before it can be someone who you least expect it to be. I hope that you can find the answer to it all soon x

Ya, they had no foundation and were put a stop to. It gets really old living in an area like this. I wish we could afford to live in a normal neighborhood where everyone wasn't paranoid and out to get someone so they don't get it themselves. A real bunch of odd balls here.

How awful, I am so sorry for you. Are you sure it is a neighbor? Not family? Acquaintance? Co-worker? I would start paying attention to people around you. What does the complaint state? What are they saying you are doing? This might help lead to a resolution.

No family except us. I wonder on the acquaintance thing. No coworkers because I am retired. Complaint just states that house was not clean. It was. Untidy after neighbor kids have been there and don't help clean up.

This sounds like a terrible ordeal. I couldn't imagine the responses going through you right now. I would be very angry, but, retaliation is not an option. I have seen a many locked up for hitting last.

Thanks for your input. No, I do not care about retaliation. What I want is to know who this person is so I can talk to them and see why they are doing this to us. We have done nothing wrong. There has been no problems in the neighborhood or anything. It upset my daughter so badly she didn't sleep for several nights. Scared her so bad. This is not the first time someone has called for no reason. We keep a clean house, food in frig,etc. It really makes you wonder who would do such a thing.
