How often do you change Avatars?

Oh XBB, you know that I am just way too lazy to keep changing avatars. So how the heck are ya, my friend?? How's the weather and all that blah blah blah. :) England must be lovely this time of year.

Your new avatar is lovely, darlin, and strength is definitely a good thing to strive for, certainly. I think we all need to be stronger, but until we get a little happier inside ourselves, it's not gonna be too easy to be strong. And we can't just put up a good front either, as I believe you well know. For me, when I've been my most down, I've seen a therapist, so I could talk things out. So many times, I've not even known what I was feeling or thinking till I heard myself say it out loud. And that's what therapy does - it gives you a place to be able to do that, to hear for yourself say what you've got, down in there, inside yourself, in your deepest heart. A lot of people say that Mylot is their therapy, and it's a very good way to connect with people and get some support and love and advice, but a professional can recognize certain 'trigger' words and phrases that we say, and they know how to respond, how to draw the whole thing out of us - they know what to ask, what to say, how to prompt us to get to where we need to be. It's a great thing to do for ourselves and I can say from experience that it's helped me immensely. I've said before that I don't think I'd be here if I hadn't gotten that help. And I didn't only do it once, I did it three times. And I'll do it again too, absolutely, if I feel the need, believe me. The only shame is in not getting the help you need. Just think about it, ok? Please?

I have never changed my avatar x - not once and I have no plans o do so either but that is just me! I must say i do like your avatar and I think it suits you - especially now I know what it means! xxx

I've only changed my avatar once, that I can remember any way. The one I have now is used on at least 3 sites, and because one is a writing site, it helps people who would love to report something of mine as being plagerised think twice because to me, the avatar is proof that I am the same person on the 3 sites. I think mine does need changing though. That little baby isn't so little now!

I hope you are feeling a bit brighter and with this symbol of strength you are certainly trying to be more optimsitic and postive. I have only changed my avatar once so far and that was last week to my younger daughter as my original one was of myself and my eldest daughter and I felt I needed to let them all have their 15 minuntes of fame. LOL. I will change again next week for a week to my young son and then probably look for one to keep for a while after that. Ellie :D

I haven't changed my mines yet.. But I do want to change it really soon..

I used to have the little green man for the longest time. I then learned how to add a photo here and I added one with a blue background. I then learned how to find other photos to add to my computer. I uploaded one of a dog. I own a dog just like the one in my avatar. This dog would pass for my dogs twin. I do not plan to change my avatar any time soon.

I haven't changed my avatar since I joined here. I am a little afraid to change a new avatar as my friends may not recognize me. Perhaps it takes some time for them to recognize me again. I love China

I like your new avatar! It's an easy symbol to remember the meaning of and I do hope it helps to lift your spirits! I haven't changed mine but I am due to. I'll probably put a picture of my other book up for a while.

hi since i joined nearly a year ago, i still have the same avatar. this conveys my love of Disney characters:-D My avatar is a crocheted doll of baby Princess Jasmine made by my talented friend. happy mylotting. As for now, I don't have any plans of changing it yet:-D

Every time someone steals my marbles or tries to put out my sparks! That seems to be happening quite often lately, so I'm trying to stay one step ahead by changing it often! ROFL

I don't use avatars anymore. When it was fairly new, i tried to make on in my likeness, but then it took so long to make. Now I just upload a photo of myself once in a while. I don't think people look at my avatar anyway, do they? I hope you're feeling better with the new avatar you have. And thanks for the education didn't know that word means strength.

I hardly ever change them. In fact, I haven't even gotten around to creating one here. I guess I am just too lazy. I wouldn't put a picture of myself up or anything like that anyway so I really don't understand the whole thing. If you like it do it. I go more by what people write.

I never changed my avatar since joining mylot, I change it but to the same picture with some modification, I made it to move little with some add-on features. as some people said, I like other mylotter to recognize me too.

Hey xbox, I haven't changed my current avatar in almost a year. Before this I changed it about 9 times. As I was only a member for a few months during that time I changed it quite a few times. This one is by far the longest I've kept. But I'm thinking of changing it again as I can't stay 32 forever...or can I? LOL

That is a nice character. I hardly ever change my avatar, although I use different ones in different places. Once myLot "ate" my avatar and I had to put up a different on for a while, but now I have it back. Get a grip, young feller! It is hard to hold onto things without a grip!

I have been wanting to change my avatar for ages. But, I won't. My friends wouldn't recognize me without my chubby fat penguin. He's my mascot! Gotta love him! I love your symbol. I was wondering what it meant. Very nice!

Well; not too often . I have changed my Avatar two times in the past . Yet ;I do not feel like changing it now or then . As for what my avatar is : I generally choose some or the other Good Picture as my Avatar . Regards

I havent changed my avatar since i set it. it'll probably stay this until i find a real nice picture. I actually took the one that I have it set as now, so it means a lot to me
