That's the famous reminder of a certain brand of cigarette.I myself smoke and I know its bad for the health. My only question is that why do they sell cigarette if they think that its bad for the health?Because of the saying "take it at your own risk".I have an asthma and I know it's bad for asthmatic..but it's addictive.bad tsk..tsk..I'm planning to quit but it's really hard.I worked in a call center and sometimes to remove the stress feeling all you to do is smoke 1 stick.I once tried to quit, probably for about a year but when I was hired as a Tech.Support Rep. I started smoking again.Peer pressure..well I guess it's peer pressure. You'll just have to be responsible for your body.Know when to stop.I hope someday I can stop this habit before it's too late.I just don't know how to quit it.

Hey pinks 17 Really you have asked peculiar question which I think no body can answer properly .Knowking we are inhaling poison . You have mentioned that you are asthmatic patient and it is earnest request to you to stop smoking immediately at least for the sake of your family. I realised your problem as it is very addictive. But I am sure if you try to quit you will definitely get positive result. First few days you will have to face serious problem but later on slowly and slowly your inner sense will hit you not to smoke further. I have also faced similar problem but slowly I have gained my confidence and will power and now I completely turned from a chain-smoker to non=smoker. Keep patience and try. My best wishes with you. I pray before almighty god to give you strength. pkc3000

I agree. Smoking sometimes can be triggered by social activity. You're in a call center as well and man, A LOT of people smoke right? Just in your team or class, there are a couple who smoke and the first time they ask, "hey do you smoke?" you will most probably say, "yeah, let's go". There was one time, I had our training class, and of the 12 of us close friends, just 1 do not smoke. What are the odds... Quitting smoking is definitely a tough road to endure especially if you've gotten used to smoking at least 5 sticks or half a pack a day. It is common in smokers that they know what the repercussions are when you smoke. The question is, why do we still smoke? It is social, is it to release stress, to look cool? or something else? At the end, when you are ready to quit, it won't matter what the reason is. The most important thing is why do we need to stop. Is it for health? yes. Well, that's actually a given . But why really? For you and your family and friends. Once you begin to realize this, you're on your way to finally releasing the habit. It will be tough but you have your family and friends to support you.
