Impulse shopping is all about that thing you want and cannot let go. Can you say what drives this kind of purchases by you? Instance attraction or any other?

Most of the time if something is on sale for a really good price I will buy several of them thinking I will never find them at a better price. Also if I find an item that I really like I will buy sever diffrent colors of the same thing. I try to cut back on my spending starting up a budget system.

I would say for me it is extra money in the bank and running across something that I just fall in love with. At that point I don't even look at the price I just buy it. If I like it I get it. I have worked really hard on impulse buying though because it can become a problem.

Yeah, I admit I had times where I had little control in shopping. Usually it's the little things that attracts impulse buying. Things that interest you the most or something that's new to you. I tend to veer on to impulse buying in food though. However, I think in some cases, impulse buying results in regret. One would think, "I shouldn't have bought this.". But of course, the opposite sometimes happen when something you've been waiting for a long time showed up in front of you suddenly, on sale, in pristine condition, the impulse is almost unstoppable.

hah. I can definatley be an impulse shopper. Its like I see something.. and a lot of times.. i just have to have it NOW. I usually don't consider the cost of the item either. This leads to tons of money spent and my boyfriend shaking his head at me. LOL. He never complains though. hes a good sport :)

My definition of impulse shopping is when one buys something they don't need or had not planned to buy because of some type of enticement. Supermarkets plan for this when they put candy, gum and magazines where they will be right beside you when you are standing in line at the checkout counter. I'm more likely to buy something not on my list if there's a big sign saying SALE. This might be a good thing if you can be flexible with your menus. It is a bad thing if it turns out to be something that goes bad before it can be used.

my impulse buys are always for the children and never for myself, i often feel guilty about buying things for myself but never worry about buying things for the children.

To be extremely honest .. i dnt think im an impulse shopper .. but i will say its hard to stop me when i step into a music store lol. For me, its more about curiousity. I see a thimg i like .. i want to own it coz i want to see how it is .. Is it really that good as it appears to be ... I want to own it to check on my own.

My impulse buys mostly have big yellow 'reduced' stickers on ...come to think of it, so do most of my non-impulse buys.
