I have a cockatiel named Timmy, and he says alot of things. He say nighty night Boo Boo, I love you, treat treat, thank you. He also catches on to ringtones vey well, his favorite is Drop it like it's hot by snoop dog, that was the first one he ever learned.

My cockatiel Peepers is the most talkative bird we have. He always greets me in the morning saying "Peep!" He loves to take showers. After a shower he runs around saying "Peepers is a wet peeper". He'll also say "Peepers is a very good peeper" He also makes fun of my wife and I when we kiss. He makes funny little kissy noises at us. Our lovebird Tiki can't talk, but he whenever someone sneezes he squeaks as if to say "Bless you". We just understand his language of squeaks.

Oh, about African Greys. They are excellent talkers and very intelligent. Trust me they can and will learn anything they hear. You, your phone, your neighbor's dog, etc. they'll learn all of it.

I do not have a bird, but I have had several budgies. One of them talked quite a bit. he could say Karposi, and "teison2" is nice among other stuff. his favorite pass-time was chasing liquids. he would land in any liquid from sause, lemonade to water running from the tap. A great bird - but one that should always be caged before a meal.

Hi punkgurl, I have two amazonian parrots and they are very smarts. The time it take to train the parrots will depend on each parrot. Some learn fast and some not. Exemple: one of my parrots her name is Socrates, he is very intelligent and start to talk at 5 months. The other her name is Boris start to talk at 7 months and he learn much with Socrates. But Boris can talk words that Socrates don't talk and I don't know why. I love my two babies.
