Do you have your 'Notifications' turned on?

When I joined myLot, I had turned my notifications off as I have so many emails in my inbox normally and did not wish to receive anymore.. Sorry for anyone who thought I did not reply intentionally:)
Lately, I have turned my notifications back on (except for add a friend etc..) and it is helping to keep track of any replies I may need to respond to and saving me going through the 'discussions i've responded to' bit to check if I need to reply anyone (still haven't finished going through them all).
Are your notifications turned on or off? Do you normally turn notifications of for most sites and get to it later or do you like to be in the know..

I only have it turned on for a few friends because my mailbox was insane!! Some friends were just making stupid posts and filling up my mailbox.

Thanks for the response nanajanet, but how do you turn on notifications for a few friends? Do we have that option? Not that I intend to use it but would be good to know.

it is always turned on becoz it is easier to follow the responses from my discussions and the comments as well... i usually open the email in between my usage of mylot for me not to missed any comments or responses...

yeah i have this habit of posting comment to all who responded to my discussion to show appreciation and as well as commenting back if necessary like this one...i do this before posting new ones...

i always turn on my notifications everytime i have accepted afriends request and so far so good that it works for me. everyday i open my mail first before pressing its link for mylot so i can see all my friends started discussions and all the discussions i responded and who ever commented. maybe thats the reason why some of my friends cant repond to my discussion it is because their notification does not work

Yes, some may have notifications turned off as you can get so many emails. Good thing is you can choose what notifications you want to receive:)

I always turn my notification on. It helps me to know when one of my friend post a new discussion or somebody answers to my discussion so I can easily respond to them. I also ask my friends and referrals to turn their notification on too. If your links and buttons are not working, please address it to mylot administrator so they can fix the problem

Thanks for the response. It is quite handy having notifications turned on, i agree! especially if you're responding to many different discussions.
