Do you ever read your spam mail?

I use Gmail as my main e-mail provider and love that it puts all the spam mail in a seperate folder without any help from me. Every so often, I go to delete the built up spam message and find that one or two catch my eye and I can't help but read them, not because I am interested in what they are peddling, but the stuff they are hawking is so funny and it just gives me a giggle. Any of you guys get sucked in by your spam?

All of the email accounts that I have all have a spam filter, but I do scan through them to make sure that nothing accidentally ended up in the spam that I wanted, I do this by looking at the senders address. I never check the spam in my gmail account, because that is the account I use for signing up to things to get me points on websites such as ipoints and pigsback, but that are actually of no or little interest to me.

Yes. I will run through all the spam mail ( by looking at the subject of the email ), see whether any email was mistakenly treated as spam . Sometimes I find one or two ! I shift them back to inbox by pressing "not spam button. Gmail automatically puts all spam emails in a separate folder. This is a very good feature. Thanks Gmail.

I don't read it, as have no reason to get larger anywhere. They are wasting their time sending it to me. I'm getting to many everyday, but it sure is easy to delete them.

Hi inked4life! I use yahoo mail and lately, I am only receiving few spam mails unlike before. I really don't read the spam mails and will just delete them right away. However, I do remember getting curious with a few and read them once before. Take care and God Bless!

Never, Never, do you want to know why ? because "SPAM" they doesn't need to read, unless it's important, but anyway the important mails come in to INBOX, not SPAM :)

I rarely read spam these days. However, when I was receiving some of those 419 scam messages, I'd occasionally read those because some of them would actually come up with some amusing scenarios (not that I ever fell for them). I've also read some of the "job offer" spam. But the others (especially those offering to enlarge body parts I don't even have) I just delete without a second thought.

Every once in a while I look through my spam filter to have a laugh at some of my spam. Sometimes I get an email that only contains random words and nothing else. It's pretty funny to see what comes up. I've on occasion replied to those emails with some random words of my own.

Hello dear inked4life. Sometimes I read the content of the spam mail, but not always. Some of the spam mails also offer us some information sometimes though most are useless to me.

Every day I check my gmail emails and I get nothing from my friends and I feel glad there are spam mails that remember me more than my friends. My daily routine is to delete all spam emails knowing that they always remember to mail me again when tomorrow comes. Cheers!!

I do sometimes. For some reason at work our spam filter does not work very good so we get to read them all. Sometimes I wonder about people when you hear that they have been suckered in by one of the spam messages.

sometimes i will read the spam mail. most of the time they want me to buy something or sign up for something. but it gives me ideas on what not to do when i launch my site. so it can be very helpful

Usually I do not, but I don't just empty the folder without checking. I realised that sometimes some important and not junk emails get sorted into the junk folder. So I make sure I go through the folder to see if there is any email that looks important and get those out first before I hit the delete button.

I have to say I don't. There is so much other stuff in my email box. I generally just delete it all and move on. Can't say I even look at it for anything to catch my eye.

At the begining, yes, but now, once in a while I am attracted by some and read them only to get disappointed because they are all the same. Really, I don't undrstand the persistence of these guys. They repeat the same thing over and over and there are zillions of them. Its incredible ! People do live in hope, though, I guess some people just naturally believe one day they will find something worthwhile. But it just doesn't make sense. There should be a law about this.

I never ever check my spam mail. It doesnt make much sense to me, since most of the time, nothing is in there except for junk mail anyway. I have heard people say that some of your inbox emails ggets put in your spam folder by accident, but still i never take the chance of checking it becuase of that either. To me thats a slim chance of that happening. I really would like to know how all of this spam gets sent to my email each and everyday to tell you the truth. Crazy stuff!!

I delete my spam mail everyday. I'll go into the spam folder, browse through all the sender/titles to make sure it's not from anyone I know of or anything important because many times mails from people we know with big file attachments can land in spam also. Other than that, I'll just delete them off
