Zzzzzzz! Wake me up when it's done please!

Mine has been that way for several days and tomorrow when my husband is off work i am going to bribe him to fix it!

It's kind of slow,but bearable. I just used this program I got from somebody at my lot. It is crap cleaner c cleaner. it cleans cookies and temporary internet files and so forth. It seems to have helped out my computer. The pages are painting faster. I was also having some other puter issues it seems to be helping those too. Hopefully i can avoid an expenive trip to the computer repair shop. I want to buy a swing for the backyard not spend big money on computer repair!!!

mylot's nothing compared to what "mycokerewards" was yesterday.good lord,i thought i was never gonna get done trying to put in 3 caps.it was having major brainfarts

I haven't responded to too many discussions today, but I haven't had any problems with the pages loading. So it may be at your end! Did you reboot your motem? Is it working any better for you now?

Hi Grandpa Bob talk about slow just now I fell asleep after hitting post response and woke up and the thing was still just loading. Now I have dsl and all other programs are loading really fast. so it has to be mylot thats slowing down things for some reason like maybe all mylotters are trying to post at the same time? ugh.also if you get antsy and try to hurry it along you really lose as mylot zaps it out into the inosphere 'some place. usually you end up with two same worded responses to one discussion. then I wonder what the discussion poster thinks of me for sending two of the same responses to his discussion.

I just got back on after being out most of the day. I was here this morning, too. I have noticed that it's taking a little longer than usual. Not as slow as yours are, though. I think it might just be myLot, if no one else says the same thing. I'll just have to check oher responses after I post this. (The ol' responding to a discussion through email.)

Not so slow on my end. But than again im not doing to much as im heading to the pool right now.

Complaining already and you just got DSL!! I don't usually have as much trouble on myLot as I do on some other sites.

I guess it is your computer is as old as you because mine lodes pretty fast. heehee. I know some days the pages load soooo slllllloooooooowwwwwwwwlllllllllyyyyyyyyy.

Time to wake up!!! I am not having a problem with things loading so you might try rebooting and see if that helps.

I'm not having a problem, so maybe a reboot wouldn't hurt? I know how frustrating it can be, waiting forever for pages to load. I try to find something else to do to fill the time, like organize my desk, file papers or balance my checkbook. But sometimes I have no patience for it and leave the computer for a while.

I always assume that when it's really slow it's down to theire being loads of users all furiously typing away all over the world. Although it's a pain (and I normally have another site open too so I can flip back and forth), I find that quite a nice thought.

Might be a virus or you may have to call your internet provider company to help you.. It is not supposed to be so slow, there is a reason for it.. You get all high speed and then slow down again, that is not right.. I believe I would give my cable company a call, they may be able to work you through a process that might fix the problem.. Good luck to you and hope you get it going again as that is a very "throw the computer through the window" kind of frustrating problem..

I think this is because of your internet connection speed. Otherwise pages are loading here as usual and fast. I am posting fast and furious. So you should check your net connection. I am using wireless connection and it is not so fast like DSL but it is still working fast at the moment on Mylot. Thanks

I guess it is all of us who are on Central Time who have the slow loading. It was loading slow for me yesterday,starting in the afternoon. It is just mylot. I did delete the cache (not the cookies) and that helped a bit, but not that much. We must be oh so popular.

I find that happens when using IE most of the time. If I use Firefox it's very rare that slow uploading. I got disconnected quite a few times it could be just the connection not the browser or the website itself

Yes, my computer is really slow, too. But, We have dial-up, so maybe that's the problem.

Even though this discussion is 3 months old, I still think the pages are loading too slowly. Sometimes I leave my computer and come back a few minutes later and it still hasn't finished posting. What I do now is minimize it and go to the next discussion and go back to the first one to see if it is finished and if it is I close the window and go on to the next one. So at times I have two or three windows open waiting for my posting to post. When it gets really slow I just leave the site and come back later as I don;t always have the patiences to wait. I think there are just too many members here and it seems that everyone posts at the same time of day. hehe

SLOW being the word, I actually went and done some washing up earlier and when I came back it was only just changing to subit tags and skip. Grrrr it does take a lot of enjoyment out of posting when so slow, I don't experience this with other sites on my computer, only on myLot, today the notifications aren't working at all and that is just as frustrating also lets hope it speeds up and they get the notifications back working too. hi there, No, I am not having this problem at the minute! I am finding that it all still goes at the same speed as it always does. But I know what you mean when you say how maddening it is when it goes slow, I have had that before and I just give up on it when it does it!
