Sharing: An Achiever's Prayer....

I got a one minute pocket Bible and I would like to share this with mylotters.
Good morning Heavenly Father!
Iam very busy today , but I knew I needed to stop and talk to You before I rush into my day.
Forgive me for being to aggresive at times and rushing into projects that I never brought to You in prayer. I have done so many things and made some wrong decisions, yet You have kept Your hand upon me. Im so thankful for that.
NOw purge my new agenda today. Take out of my life those who break my focus off Your assignments. Bring into my life those who grow Your dream within me.
Protect me. Talk to me. Keep Your angels around me every hour of this day.
I will speak Your name with joy and thanksgiving . I will celebrate Your presence and tell others of Your laws.
I will embrace Your wisdom every single day of my life.
In Jesus name,
Amen

Yes, very true, im also one of those who are guilty, most of the time we want God to approve our plans not His will be done in our lives.

Hi zelmarq,
I've been away for a while but I'm back!
thanks for sharing this. it made me think that sometimes, we really need to pray and not just for one minute! :) these days lots of parents say taht they are interested in spending quality time with their kids, but there can be no quality without quantity. same goes for our relationship wtih God.

hello there my friend,
Its nice to hear from a friend here in mylot. I wanted to share this coz this simple prayer touched me so much I cant help but spread the blessing to others. Its all about starting the day right and ending it right and what to do is to give all back the glory to God. Its about establishing this relationship that we what to ahve with our creator and this prayer could help us make it through the day, as a sort of a reminder to keep us focused and with the guidance of GOd.

That is a very uplifting prayer and thought for the day. I bet a lot of us are the type that look before we leap and do not take consideration of what God woud want us to do, and how He wants us to achieve.

Yes, I read this and try to share with my co workers everyday. I also Pray before I sleep and when I wake up in the morning.

May God bless you Zelmarq! Many of us would usually rush to the computer and open myLot to start working. Your post would surely remind all of us that ..yes.. we need to work but we must talk to God first. All of these are from Him. Let us all be guided by His wisdom as we go through the whole day. Yes, it has become a lifestyle and if we try to change our lifestyle to start with God, we can make it through the day with a smile in our face and the word of God in our hearts.

Hi Zelmarq! Although my day is almost over as I am reading this prayer, I still whispered it in my heart and offered it to God. I love this prayer and I thank you for sharing it. With this prayer, I have another few minutes offered to God while I am busy here in the internet. Thanks again for this wonderful prayer.
