Double points at myCoke Rewards Today!

Wednesday June 25th is double points day at the myCoke Rewards website. The double points are only for the codes from the 12-packs of cans; 20 per code instead of 10.
I opened all three of the fridge packs I had in the pantry so I could put them in today. Hopefully, I won't end up with a loose can breaking my toe when I go to put them in the refridgerator later. :-)

It took me over an hour to put in three codes. I'm not happy with Coke, as it means anyone trying later in the day is not going to have their points double. This has happened before and they need to be better prepared.

The site was running really slow for me as well when I put my codes in this afternoon. If they didn't have all that stupid flash stuff on there it would probably be much better when there was a lot of users on. I wish they had just a simple page for entering the codes, seperate from all that other junk.

I got an email from Coke yesterday apologizing about the heavy traffic to their site and they knew of the problems. Supposedly, they are going to be offering things in the near future to make up for this.
We shall see.

Yeah, I got that, too. It said they would be offering new rewards and stuff, but I don't think they are going to be giving anything away to those who missed out because the site crashed. It was time they offered some new stuff anyway, I'm sick of Idol and NASCAR stuff.
I guess they couldn't really tell who tried to get through and who didn't, so it would be hard to impliment. I think they should do another double points day (and be ready for the traffic, this time) to make up for it.

What are you saving your points for? I honestly don't know what I am going to do with mine. One time in 2007 they had Disney GC, so I keep hoping they will have some more.

I don't really know what I'm saving for at the moment, they really don't have any gift cards I want, and I'm not going to fritter my points away on junk promoting Idol and NASCAR. I guess if they don't offer something better, I'll just have to keep saving until I can afford the LCD TV (hope they plan to keep the points program going for eight or nine more years!

I did get a pair of shorts last year.
I'm hoping they will had Visa Gift cards, groceries would be nice. LOL
