Yes...last week I went out to price a pantry for my kitchen. I have such little space. I was just looking and found it for half price! Then I have a rewards card to the store so I got another 10% off! Woo Hoo! It had to be put together but my daughter in law can whip things together in now time...I really thought I needed it badly but now that it's up and in the kitchen I don't have it fill half way yet! LOL

That was a good find Ellie. Not so much a bargain, but my dadapaid for me to have three new tyres on my car because he felt that I had run him about so much that they'd worn down faster than normal. I did say not to worry; but not too hard!! LOL.

Hello ellie, that was really a nice bargain you've got. I have made some bargains also few months ago when I was checking on one of the online stores based in your country (UK). I was looking for a rubber shoes. We have a lot here in the Philippines but I want something that I could save a lot and I found one site. I ordered 4 pairs because the discount was about 70% and had it delivered to my sister's address in the U.K. and have her just send to me when somebody comes back home. I just had them last month and I was very with the bargain that I had. I cannot buy them here in the Philippines at the price that I paid. I wish we have some bargains like that too so I don't need to go checking online anywhere. Have a great day!

I love3 bargains also. I find alot of mine online. I like to shop online instead of having to run to the stores to buy things. We live in the country and gas prices are so high. We have to drive at least 15 miles just to get to Walmart. I can find some really good deals online and get free shipping sometimes. I would rather pay shipping and stay home and save on gas. It all equals out in the long run for me.

Hi Ellie-that was a bargain maybe I should do the same need something like that desperatley -lately have been going to second hnd shops and have got a few tops for about £2 or £3 each not sure how much that is in dollars-we also have a £1 shop and it sells all sorts in there even brand names all for a £1 and I found a computer telephone there so got it all it needs is plugging into the coputer only haven't got a web cam at the mo-hugs littleowl

Most computer desks in Trinidad cost over $ 500. and that roughly 50 pounds. I haven't seen any bargains here in Trinidad for a long time. People are too busy trying to coin money to give out bargains to anyone. Any bargain in this country has to be something worth nothing. That's not a joke. Its awfull here in Trinidad when it comes to money. In the case of computer desks it might be easier to get somebody to make one for you. Other than that I've seen some for over $ 1000.

Hey, ellie, i love bargain too. As you know, i bought a second-hand bicycle at a cheap price. And the most exciting is that i bought 3 T-shirt, the money adds up is even less than one T-shirt. There are some small shops which have cheap and good clothes, but also some cheap and bad quality ones, we should learn to select. Small shops have a small room and often not in a golden zone, so they pay less for the rent. And sometimes, you know that the brand names of the clothes cost a big sum. If i don't have enough money, i try these shops. And I find it really happy when buying a cheap but beautiful and good quality clothes. Also, i will try to buy small stuffs on the internet, no rent at all, so much cheaper. And as to some daily use products or books, we can try second-hand. Recycle saves the environment as well. I don't use second-hand too much, but it's great, isn't it?

Oh I just went to a big sale yesterday and splurged on a few nice tops. :) I'm very happy when I buy clothes at bargain prices. I don't usually shop for office supplies such as you did so I rarely am on the lookout for tables and what no on sale. It's a great feeling though. Especially when you go home and know that you actually saved some money.

i guess everybody loves a bargain. who wouldn't? recently, i was about to go on a wedding and i realized i didn't have a dress yet. i went shopping just hours before the wedding and so, of course, i was cramming. i was also on a limited budget. but i was so happy that i was able to find the very exact style of dress i wanted and the color i needed, at 70% off the regular price. whoa! and guess what, a lot of my friends told me my dress was so pretty! now isn't that just so cool? :)

wow! That's a very great deal ellie,,,lucky today ha! LOL! this month, I haven't found anything yet, but i am always sightseeing for some yard sales..I am sure I will be getting nice things which are still great and in good condition..I am hoping to find an outdoor table, wish me luck..LOL!

If it isn't a real bargain, I won't buy it! If the prices keep going up while the paychecks go down,even bargains won't be affordable. I understand there are differences between British and American English, and I usually have no problems, but what is a wheelie bin?

That sounds like an awesome deal to me. I have been eyeing a shoe since last year (I know right?!) But I finally have the opportunity to buy it and to my luck it has a special going on at the moment. 33% off the regular price. That may not seem like much but that is a little over $18USD in savings for me! I could use that money for something else. In the meantime, I'll be getting my shoes at last!
