Ok, so I've been "learning" how to cook since I young. My mom always asked me to help out in the kitchen. I did, but it used to irritate me. Now, I'm very thankful. A lot of my friends will call me asking how to make something, and I feel overjoyed to help out! Cooking is so much fun for me. My recipes don't always turn out exactly how I want, but they are always tasty. So, I want to share a few recipes with all of you, and hopefully I will get some recipes in return! I think this will be awesome! We'll start with a yummy treat for the kiddos or yourself! CHEWY OATMEAL COOKIES INGREDIENTS: 1 cup flour; 3/4 tsp baking soda; 1/2 tsp salt; 1 tsp cinnamon; 3/4 cup shortening; 1 1/3 cup brown sugar; 2 eggs; 1 tsp. vanilla; 2 cups oatmeal; 1 cup raisins; 1 cup nuts (optional) DIRECTIONS: Sift together flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla and stir well until smooth. Stir in oats, raisins, and nuts!Bake at 350. Makes 3 1/2 dozen!GREEN CHILI CHICKEN ENCHILADAS INGREDIENTS: 16 oz. sour cream; 3 lrg. chicken br.; 2 cans cream of chicken; 3 1 1/2 oz cans of green chili ( I actually use fresh or frozen chilis from New Mexico... much better flavor!); 1 1/2 lb. sharp cheddar; 18 corn tortillas; 1 onion DIRECTIONS: Cook chicken in green chili and onion. You might need to add a bit of butter if you use fresh or frozen chilis. Mix all ingredients, including cooked chicken, green chili, onion, in large bowl. Drop each tortilla in oil for a second to soften. Put spoon of mixture plus cheese in each tortilla. Place rolled tortillas in pan and cover with left over mixture and any left over cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. SUPER DELICIOUS!

I would surely try out your recipie amber. On my part i have always tried to be a better cook. But i never got much time off to practice learning cooking. My mom is very nice at cooking, and has helped to teach me too. But, as usual one doesn't learn well unless he practises the bit. Have a good day.
