without CHRIST in Christian..

hello friends... just want to take this opportunity to share about Christ...
again, lot of people claims to be Christian but doesn't really believe in Christ. and there are people who just don't believe in Christ..
i love going to sunday school. since i was young, it's my desire to go to church every sunday and learn about Christ. my teacher asked what is a christian without Christ.. of course at my young age i have an idea but im not really syre about it.. but then my teacher answered like this..."christian without CHRIST is IAN which means I am nothing without Christ"and yes i does make sense. we are nothing without Christ....

I believe in christ also. I was raised a baptist or christian also. I would be nothing without Christ in my life. I do not attend church anymore but I do read my Bible on occasion. I pray to the lord every day also, not only for myself but for others as well. I will always have Christ in my life until he calls me home.

This reminds me of a friend I had once. His name was IAN. Had he accepted Christ at that point in his life I doubt he'd have lost his job car and house. Only to wid up moving to another city for a better life and wind up with a DUI. Sure wish I had heard this before in order to share it with him. Maybe he new and just wanted to see if he was able to prove it wrong. Regaurdless I think you sunday school is right. Enjoy church...every read what Christ says about church?

i can't agree more with you... the centre of Christianity is Christ and without Christ, we are nothing... that's why i always pray to God everyday to guide my life and bless me as i can't do anything without Him... He is our source of life and we have to cling and depend on Him everyday to guide and provide us... take care and have a nice day...

I really do not understand why anyone would call themselve a Christian without believing in Christ. The same can be for someone who calls themselve a Christian but believes that Jeseus was just a good man, and a good teacher. Why be a Christian if you deny the Godhood of Jesus, that does not make any sense to me. A month ago the leader of a major Christian demonination said that the virgin birth does not matter, neither does the resurrection. Well excuse me but if Jesus was not without sin, and he did not raise from the grave then what are we doing. What is the point of our faith if there is no one to believe in.

I have never heard that one before.That is great and very true.That is great that you love church and learning about Jesus.
Have you seen the movie "Passion of Christ"? That is an excelent movie about Jesus.It shows everything that Jesus went thru for us.

not only do some people claim to be christians and don't believe in Christ. some do claim to be christians AND believe in Christ BUT do not live a life worthy to be called christians. i think that's more worse. because a lot of people might stumble. and instead of being attracted to the light, to christianity, to Christ, these so-called christians are actually driving people away from Christ and, as a friend said, giving them a ticket to hell.
