Do have an address or a P.O. Box?

Since we moved, we have to use a P.O. Box, they don't deliver mail here in the mountains of Colorado. I feel like a spy or something like I'm being sneaky. Guess I don't have to worry about mail piling up around my new P.O. Box. How about you, do you get to see your mail carrier, or did you get asigned a number?

We have both actually , I always put my street address on everything as well as the P.O. Box number. The reason for that is our mail carrier for Belvidere is kind of a goofball . We have lived here for about a year and a half and she still puts other peoples mail in our box.And other peoples in ours. So if the street address is there someone from around here can bring here.

How funny. Tell her you gave her gift to the UPS man because you forgot she delivered mail.

Me and my fiance live with my parents so we have a mailbox with an address, and most days when we are up we will see the mail person drive up and put mail in the mailbox, even though we never usually get anything, and if we do it is almost always junk mail, which there is very few things worse than junk mail.

I have both. We get mail out our house, but I also have a post office box (PO Box). I love having the box because that's where many of my magazines go and also my pen pal letters. I've had the box for about ten years now, and the price keeps going up and up. Hehehe. I couldn't imagine ALL my mail going to the PO box. I think it would be annoying, but at least it would cut down on mail being sent to my house, right? Have a wonderful day. Pablo

I do have a P.O box, and it's compulsory or maybe a common sight in singapore.. It's alot more convenient as it's just below our house, which we called it the 'void deck'.. lol ^_^

We have an address. No PO Box here. We do get to see our carrier a few times a week. That is if we are home when the mail arrives.

I have a mailing address. I live in an apartment and see the mail carrier when he comes if I am home to see him. It sounds like a P.O. box would be an odd way to go.

Since they don't deliver mail here, its the only way to go.

I don't have a P.O.Box. I have my mails delivered directly to my home only. Earlier when I was young I had many pen friends. Even then I gave my home address only. I felt that more comfortable because the mails are delivered in hand. And one does not have to go and collect the mails. Though I recieve more mails per day, I prefer home delivery only. My postman arrives in the morning hours itself. And there have been days, I would be waiting eagerly for him to check out if I have recieved any mail. That was before my marriage. Almost many mails were in my dad's name. And when any one was with my name at reciever's end, I would be very excited. Now everything has become routine as almost all mails are recieved in my name only..So the excitement has decreased but still the curiosity stays till I open the mails.

We do not have any PO Box system in our city, rather, our letter are delivered to our home address. I find that it is better, instead of making a round to PO Box in a Post office.

When I was growing up we had a PO Box. We lived close enough to the post office that they did not deliver it to us. I have since always had my mail delivered to the house I lived in. I was once tempted to get a PO Box when I had mail delivery because my neighbors in the 2 family building I was living in were not the type of people that I trusted too much. I was always afraid that they would mess with my mail.

I personally use home address but at one point, I knew of a person who used his work address... He was at work more than he was at home so he decided to have all his mails forwarded to his work...

I grew up in a tiny little hick town. I believe it was technically a village actually. Anyway, we had a PO box there, had to walk up to the post office all the time. I live in the city now and the mail comes right to our door. Yay. Except...it's all bills! Not so exciting.

We have had a P.O.Box for years. We still get mail though that box though we're now thinking of switching to a road side box. It's cheeper than a P.O.Box sometimes.

I have a P.O. box at the post office, and I also get some mail at my house. I like the P.O. box because I don't have to worry about anyone stealing my mail, and I don't have to fill out change of address cards when I move.

I have a po box...we always have here even the people who live in town have a po box as mail isn't delivered. I hate that so many places wont mail to a PO box when there's so many people in rural areas that can't have a street address.

We get to see our mail carrier, or should I say that we get our mail delivered to our mailbox out by the road. We don't actually see him, but he brings our mail. We live out in the country so we don't have to have a p.o box.
