My sons birthday is July 2nd. We celebrated with fireworks for his birthday most of his life so for a long tiem he thought his brithday was on the 4th of July.
I am not sure what we are going to have yet. I will have to get the grill out and fix some steaks.

Yumm love steaks. My birthdays always sucked growing up cause it was so close to the holiday that everyone was either out of town or doing the family thing.

We have lots of summer birthdays in my family. It starts with mine on the 3rd, then my grandmother on the 11th (she passed 10 years ago), then my daughter's on the 14th, Then my dad's on the 31st, my niece on the 1st of august and my brother september 21. Lots of birthdays.

Happy Birthday to you! My grandsons birthday is on the 3rd as well, he was almost a July 4th baby, if only he could have waited 1 1/2 hours to be born. I have to work that weekend, but my daughter is taking him and his sisters out to eat, then they are going to the bouncy bounce place.

I was a month over due and my grandfather and brothers were setting off rockets and one of them went crazy and crashed through the neighbors window and exploded iin thier house (they were on vacation at the time). It sent my mom straight into labor LOL.

We don't usually go out on the fourth of July. We live in an apartment but my mother does cook yummy food. And then we see some of the fireworks that people around here set off. They do it the whole night which sucks because then I can't go to sleep.

We usually go out for my birthday but since our money is so tight this year we are combining my daughter's birthday and mine and going out on her birthday. She will be 18 July 14th.

I think we will probably have hamburgers, some kind of salad, watermelon, chips and a special cake that has jello in it and makes a design. I would make a potato salad but my son is coming and does not like it so maybe I will make corn on the cob. He likes that.

Hard to believe it's almost that time of year again. Last year I was in the USA for Caada day and the Fourth of July. My American husband and I celebrated both holidays. This year I'm back in Canada, but he's still working in Arizona. It stinks!!
